Nikushimi Posted January 11, 2013 Report Share Posted January 11, 2013 (edited) Furysword is alright. It does split damage (fire and physical) so it will have to bypass two defenses. It's good in PvE though as not many creatures are resistant to fire. It scales with humanity btw. Chaos blade is better imo. Can knights use ranged attacks? I don't want to play the game 50% and then realize i should have choosen some other class. That is great. So there is no difference between the classes other than the look and initial stats? Played for like half an hour as both Wanderer and Knight. Right now i have a broken sword and Black Firebomb . When will i get shield and a proper weapon? Game is really awesome. I simply ran away from the Asylum Demon are we supposed to kill the creature? I am one level below the dragon shooting off his tail with large arrows, but the damn thing is not dying Any other way to do it? I know we get Drake sword. Nikushimi Posted January 14, 2013 Report Share Posted January 14, 2013 (edited) If you're just after the Drake Sword, keep firing arrows at his tail. It will take a while but you can eventually cut it and get the sword. Killing him isn't necessary and it is not recommended at your current level. Are you sure you are hitting the tail? Yeah you can revisit any place any time. You need the lordvessel to fast travel between bonfires. You get it halfway through the game. Aftrunner Posted January 14, 2013 Report Share Posted January 14, 2013 Its very hard to flat out kill him with arrows unless you have high DEX and a decently upgraded bow. If you are after the drake sword and are not getting it then chances are you arent meeting the bow stats so your bow does almost no damage. Which is why you cant cut his tail off. I was aiming the head and back that's why it was not dying I also found the shortcut to the Undead burg bonfire. The secret pathways in this game are so awesome. Excellent Level Design. And Drake Sword is Sexxy This game is Dope. Getting the DLC in a few days. Edit : Just checked and that bastard is not dead,i went up and it burned me only the tail is gone. F**k it, will try later. If I couldn't kill the bastard within 30-40 arrows I'd say f**k it, go farm some souls and come back with higher level equipment. You have some serious patience. The sword isnt even THAT good. I mean you probably spent more Souls on arrows than you got from killing the damn dragon.
