Kazekage Gaara
Hey guys, Just ordered a PS3 Slim 120 Gb from Prashant and I wanted to know what needs to be done to get this console registered with Sony India ? How do I go about doing that ? What things are needed to do so ? Like original bill ? or getting the seller's stamp on the warranty card or something ? Any and all help is much appreciated. Thanx guys

Kazekage Gaara
Register what? Register the console with Sony India so the warranty period starts or begins ? With Microsoft, I remember you needed the original bill to get it registered for warranty, and I remember you had to call them up and send them a scanned copy of the original bill and let them know your address, etc. Is it the same with Sony India ? Do I have to call any Sony India numbers to get mine registered for warranty ? Edit: Am I missing something here ?
Sumanth_Champion
as far as i know you just need to have the original bill with you. You would be getting a gaurentee card with the date of purchase written on it at the time of the purchase. If not your bill also should be fine i guess. I got my card signed and stamped in Croma. No need of any registration as far as i know. Even in case of m$ also you can register when u run into problem with the console.

vbhoj74
I think now that the Indian PSN store is up, they might just start with online warranty registrations soon (as they do for all other regions).
playstation
@KG,hey bro, make sure you ask praashant to stamp those warranty cards...i once did not had my psp warranty card stamped and when it stopped working i took it sony india service center they asked me to get it stamped first before accepting the psp. other than that you dont need any registering as of now but may be later as vbhoj pointed out.
