rad2689 Posted October 7, 2010 Report Share Posted October 7, 2010 guys, we need to defend well from now on coz we r losing way more than winning. even some draws will do but we have to stop letting in stupid goals. the least we can do is stop making defensive errors. i can b a defender but my player is neither strong nor a good header. n we do have an awesome RB like Omar. n Mihir is also a superb CB till he starts passing backwards or let's in a stupid goal by trying to dribble like Messi. n at LB there is Lazy who is also pretty good at LB i don't mean to say other guys don't defend well but these r d ones that caught my eye. whoever plays CDM or even at LM DO NOT PASS BACKWARDS!!!!! n guys when near our D clear d ball quicker n don't show ur dribbling skills n also don't make short passes sideways near our D. i'm just stating what i feel like. don't mean to offend anyone. just want to get some Clean-sheets for our Club. Agree man. Every game i end up doing some stupidity Need to concentrate more. Also, the back line needs to co-ordinate. We need to be effective in setting offside trap by keep looking at the radar. Good games everyone, specially Mrinal, Rad and Dan. Polash was good at the back ( the 1 v 1 save you made in that 3-2 win was ) and Omr got some great tackles in. I managed to break a few plays myself . Mihir, pass the ball more dude instead of backpassing to the opposition . I thought you were a good defender but as a CDM you weren't going forward enough and couldn't concentrate much at the back. I think based on today's games this should be our line-up ------------------ ??? -------------------- --OMR --- Mihir ------- Polash ----- J33th/LazyCoder -------------------------Avi-------------------------- ----Rad-------------Azaan/Gladiator ------------ Mrinal ---------------- Dabba ----- Dan[C] ----------------- We need 1 goalkeeper As a CDM, i wasnt trying to push up. But be a little like Makelele. Break up play and pass to the nearest player. And i did almost score a goal which led to a corner from which someone scored a goal But i guess we all need to play more in different positions and experiment ! Please tell me how can a person improve his play if he is playing 2 games as CB and then 2 games as CM and then 1 as striker. He is just adjusting everytime. Instead, if everyone is told to perfect a position each, we could really do well. And I am very disappointed with most people in the club as they just want to do what they wish by being strikers and midfielders. Except for me, OMR and LazyCoder no one wants to defend and the people who are told to defend since they are good at it, well they say they want to experiment with new positions. Even I would love to be a striker or a CAM but I always take a CDM because the people here have said that I play well at that role.
