Cash Posted October 8, 2010 Report Share Posted October 8, 2010 i dont know for some reasons when ever the ball goes to our defence part.. we can see CAM,LCM,RCM and sometimes strikers also defending this is actually very not necessary it wont help defense side instead it makes trouble for counter striking and your players stamina so stay in your posistion!! Go to virtual pro and select a club and search for ivg11, or you can also see the club your friends are in and select ivg1 and send an invite. Yes. Ideally strikers + CAM shouldnot come more too deep, maybe till 1/2 our half line. If we are being dominated, LCM + RCM can help by jostling with other mids but leave the tackling part to CDM's and CBs. Stevie G Posted October 8, 2010 Report Share Posted October 8, 2010 Good to see atleast some of you'll agreeing with my point of view. @Mihir : I have played CB as well in FIFA 10 and currently I believe you and Lazy are doing that job better than me, so I don't think there is any need for me to go there. Same for CAM, RS and LS ... I think Dan, Dom and Mrinal are doing a good job at it and thus there is no need for anyone else to experiment with those roles. @Lazy : I thought you were really good with slight dips in your concentration. Overall, your play was really nice and you were trying your best I am the CDM because I have played quite a lot and believe I can give you guys good tips on whom to mark and how to maintain the line from my position. We have had matches where some other people were CDM and we conceded goals too. I don't mean to say that it was because I wasn't in defense but just that I have been playing in that position for a long time and know how to handle the back and get the passes in. And fighting for posiitons is never healthy as anyone who will get 1 chance to be in midfield will try to do everything on his own just to cement his place. Let us give the people the confidence and assign roles. Anyway, Dan is the captain and it is his call. Personally, fighting for positions is just not a team works. I mean it's fine if someone is fighting for 2 positions but just fighting cause no one wants to defend is pretty cheap imo. Avi u take this too seriously we are playing just for fun.IMO we should not fix positions.Also since lazy is lb and mihir is cb there is one cb position remaining for u if u want to try. Just need to look more carefully at the radar. Obviously initially there will be more errors, but i dont think its too difficult to eliminate those. And our attackers get offsided all the time, shows its not too difficult with a little concentration. I mean give us a chance too na.... All the games I played yesterday, I was RB... When I requested to play upfield, no one budged. I mean you guys were playing upfield since my 1st game... So in a way the positions are fixed Its not as if I play in mid, ill play there for the rest of my life na... just wanna give it a try, is all.... The day we plan to ply competitive.. a new club with regulars who r good in their respective positions can b formed... Till then enjoy in this club, improve ur pro, make him a beast... This club is for fun play.. and no1 shud bother bout the win/loss ratio.. take this club as ur stairway for VP & club mtch play improvement. I do agree every1 needs to rotate positions.. this will give us a better sense to see how we fare in each n every positions on the field.. We juz got started.. we need time 2 improve a lot... IVG11 club shud help us in dat. We can later on go on competitive, when we r all really very good n our pros are awesomesauce with everything unlocked.
