Score was 0-0 2nd game - Polash won 3-1. Played 1 game with Azaan. Drew 0-0 Played 1 game with xXBrokenBlissxX. rajprdp Posted August 22, 2011 Report Share Posted August 22, 2011 Played 4 2* Games Today 1 with Omar Won 2-1 1 with Rajpradeep Won 2-1 1 with Zeeman Won 1-0 1 with Avishkar Drew 0-0 Ive settled on my 2 Star team you were really good in protecting the ball...used your players body to cover and get away from my charging player ...Trying to force the play too much against you especially while defending ended in trouble. you played a flat back 5 with full backs making no forward runs,was is it a conscious strategy because it seemed that way. you first line of defense is really gd and is what i guess separates your defense from others .i personally find it difficult to defend in the midfield and will mostly settle for defending in my own final 3rd which i know is not the way to do it.maybe we can play few matches tomorrow...it can give me few pointers on how to go about defending in midfield(which player u take control and who u press with)....BTW The tall guy u had in ur team is going to get you some goals in tournament i can sense it. Stevie G Posted August 22, 2011 Report Share Posted August 22, 2011 I actually kept a flat back 3 and attacked a lot with my wing backs,normally I keep a flat back 5 normally but since you were playing a very defensive 5-4-1 I knew I had to use my wing backs as extra men to break your defense down.Your defending idea is not bad i.e defending in the finale 3rd but you need to be more careful of getting cut by my players and if you are gonna defend in the final 3rd then dont commit your midfielders till the final 3rd .Also what were you thinking at 80 minutes,you were 1-2 down and still you were passing the ball between your back 5,made me think that you settled for a 1-2 loss.Atleast try to save the game towards the end. This is the only game which I cannot afford to play late while others are already playing it. My options so far are Intencity and Game4U. I have bought games from both vendors and they do deliver games on time, but both of them had their share of hiccups with various pre orders iirc. Flipkart fked up some pre order(LA Noie ???) recently and people went mental at that time.
