Halo is the reason we are seeing matchmaking,dual wielding,re-generating Health shields and 1 button grenade throws and all in shooters today.. (Killzone toh bacha hai abhi ) Halo was first shooter to have drivable vehicles in both s.p and m.p M.P no fun??? ...looks like you havn't played Halo m.p yet ...M.p toh jaan hai game ki...lol @Topic..Kudos is a moron no doubt..... .. spindoctor Posted September 21, 2010 Report Share Posted September 21, 2010 what would this idiot know about shooters on the pc? there are communities of pc gamers who still play shooters from 10 years ago or more (counter strike, quake 3, quake world etc). this person's entire world revolves around releasing iterations of the same game every year, thereby making 1 year old games obsolete, and also absolutely shutting down games which are more than 5 years old. and then he has the nerve to talk about pc gamers and their communities and his 'revolutionary' halo? spindoctor Posted September 21, 2010 Report Share Posted September 21, 2010 The Epic Game, i'm going to assume you're referring to the milsim operation flashpoint? the first one was a good game, but it has been replaced now with the arma series, the latest being arma 2 arrowhead. this is hardcore simulation stuff, no arcade guns and shooting like we're used to generally. if you are looking at getting it, i would seriously recommend getting the demo off steam. if you're talking about operation flashpoint: dragon rising, the codemasters sequel to the original, the game sunk without a trace after release last year. non existent developer support and shunned by the community. it also has a demo you can try out, but my understanding is that it was a pretty uninspired game.
