Nemo Posted January 30, 2011 Report Share Posted January 30, 2011 Yup, got both of them.will watch it. thanks. btw saw this movie Memento(2000)....the one on which ghajini is also copied...honestly...i could not grab the story....was quite confusing....I will have to watch again...thought direction and acting is definitely A class.....but i think i enjoyed ghajini more....they did a great job of keeping the story easy to grab ...where memento is like a puzzle....so is it just me or others here also find it confusing?? bah, ghajni is not AT ALL related to memento aside from the memory loss and body tattoo. ghajni is an out and out love story/revenge drama. I am not a fan of lovy love movies so ghajni was a big but memento on the other hand chris f**king nolan yes memento can be a bit confusing. i hope you are now aware that the movie was presented with the events playing in reverse. Also that the guy (maybe) killed the murderers of his wife a long time ago, his friend had been using him to kill the persons he wanted out for his personal gains by abusing his (the main guy's) forgetfulness so that when he goes to kill, he does so with full vengeance ie wanting to kill his wife's murders; basically he had been using the guy as a personal hit man; moreover the lead character too liked the idea of being on a quest to find his wife's killers (unknowingly even, as he would forget that he wanted himself to be on the said quest after 15mins) as it gives him a purpose in (what he feels) an ordinary life.. that is why he kills his friend at the end/beginning and DOES not write down the whole truth for him to remember later anything else you want to know, just post ! I mean the basic idea was copied for ghajini from this movie only...ofcourse bollywood makes everything indianised so they had to add love story ...songs and all..happened with resevoir dogs(kaante) and old boy(zinda) too....and all the originals still are the best...no doubt... abt movie . okay still not very clear honestly....i will just run down basic story you tell me if i am right or wrong.... he sees his wife murdered...he kills the first guy second is killed later with the help of the cop ...who helps him find him....now the cop uses him as his hitman and tries to kill jimmy(boyfriend of natalie (anne moss :wub) ....now anne moss is into drugs and she also uses him to kill the cop...which he does...and the cop wanted to kill jimmy for the money....now the cop says his wife was diabetic and that insulin shots were for her....so where is this sammy comes in to picture?? Over-rated movie is over-rated nah yaar...ghajini zaabardast movie tha...even though it was not original but aamir khan,asin and that villain really did awesome job.....upar se song bhi zaabardast tha...behka main behka ...wohi behki hawa se ayi.
