Abhi5hek Posted January 30, 2011 Report Share Posted January 30, 2011 well happened to watch Rakhta charitra recently ... after a lot of deliberation and thoughts, overcoming my mind's serious urge to avoid anything which had RGV stamp totally. But in the end it turned out to be a really nice movie. Loved a few of the scenes revealing the director's old class, and good overall performances. for the people who want to see RGV in his elements, though not totally but still ... should watch it ... crime / politics / blood good mix for a nice politico crime thriller.. and crisp editing makes it a good watch. It is the most well directed movie of 2010, albeit very poorly written. Too bad the sequel sucks. Even now, when sh*t really hits the ceiling, every one looks at supes to come and save the day, yes even the bat-god. Although nobody can touch Christopher Reeve. That guy was born to play Supes. +1 No one else in any superhero movie, save for JJJ in Raimi's spiderman had such perfect sync with the character they played. Routh looked sad in the costume, he was not bulked enough for supes back in the day, also they had the S on the chest wayyy to small. seriously.. sh*t. I will reserve the judgment on the new guy till i see a photo with the costume, that and the hair can make or break the superman look, I am not happy with the lack of that square jaw on the guy tbh. Still have hopes from the movie, Nolan is writing- dont want him to bring all the realistic and dark angle in suerman though, Supes is supposed to be a feel good movie, classic coming against the odds to save the day and all smiles. The Tourist: One of the movies one would never expect Johnny Depp to act in, it's just too mainstream for him. Weak plot, still good TP. Jack Goes Boating: Fcking bore. PSH is capable of doing a lot better than this. Going The Distance: Awesome movie, great characters and some really funny scenes. Casino Jack: Very decent watch, one of the better biopics.
