playstation Posted February 6, 2011 Report Share Posted February 6, 2011 Saw this Japanese Movie- Sugar and Spice based on novel -fumi zekka.....Its a love story that really sticks a lot to realism specially for young teens...who are just going into college and discovering porns,sex,girls and whole new life ...falling in love and then learning a lesson....truly this movie will give a very valuable message to teens specially .......really very good movie. Enjoyed it...Highly Recommended specially for teens. thought will say it here also...a member pmed as he could not find this movie ...so If anyone has any problem in finding this movie...can pm me.....once again recommending it to all but specially teens. Ne0 Posted February 6, 2011 Report Share Posted February 6, 2011 (edited) Watched 'dhobi ghat'. Brilliant movie, hats off to kiran rao for such a remarkable debut. Its not for everyone though. I just loved the movie. The pacing is perfect, not too slow, its just right to soak you into the atmosphere and the story. I just wish the director had tied up the story in the end instead of leaving it open. All in all, I would rate it 9/10. And Monica Dogra is one actor to watch out for. I just wish it had wounded up the story in a better way instead of leaving it open. All in all, I would rate it 9/10. @Neo: +1. However, I loved that she left it open at the end. I could think of nothing worse than everything wrapped up into a neat little package. It would have ruined what is a beautifully crafted story. It allows the movie to stay with you for a little while longer. I don't know if you've seen Hyderabad Blues, but, if the movie had been all wrapped up, it would have been ruined the way Hyderabad Blues was with its ending. The whole point is that the film is meant to draw you in and make the characters and their plight a part of you as you're watching the film. Will check it out he did a small bit in aisha..then mirch he was the central character (movie was average)...and now this...and yea this is a fast paced thriller..so you wont fall asleep like in the case of dhobi ghat I watched 'Band Baaja Barat' today and it was pretty nice.
