IGN's review kinda trashed it. 1 star or 2 stars out of 5. Similar scathing reviews from several other sources like Yahoo News, Screenrant etc.

That's sad to hear. IGN was pretty lenient with mindless movies like Transformers and Battle LA. So if they're saying its bad, it must really be bad :(

Love and Other Drugs

11/10

Dunno what the movie was about, Anne Hathaway distracted me.

:D

I got bored by the second half though. Not because it lacks Anne's boobies, but because it falls into predictable romcom territory..

but then, what did i expect <_<

The Ra.One trailer looks horrible.

Looks pretty awesome tbh.

agreed. Dunno why people take it as a crime if someone from Bwood tries to make a sci fi. Sure 90% chance is wont match the mega studio products and avatar etc but a start has to be made somewhere. Krissh was the first, Ra.One should take it at a higher level, you have to realize that there is a general skepticism in our movie makers regarding these kinds of films so not many go for it even though the have the money for it, I am not a big fan of srk, really dont like his monotonous roles in yash raj-Kjo movies but i like his personality and ideas. He follows the international movie making scene, his Don was pretty good.. the climax was superb (coming from a big old Don fan), not many people in india have the balls to go where he went with it.

He has a good humor style, as you can see by his twitter posts and the self satire he did in OSO, so rest assured Ra.One wont be a cheesy half assed take on sci fi. Granted it wont be no tron in dazzle but it should be worth a watch.

+1. SRK may be a pathetic actor (except in a few movies like Swades, Chak de), but overall, he's got a decent personality and has a fair amount of wit.

Not saying it hasn't been done before but really it looks like an extension of Krissh, which is a BS movie to begin with. I don't have anything against bad VFX, but Hrithik doing super jumps spoiled the whole movie for me. Seriously that was the most ridiculous part of the movie when he was jumping buildings & cars :|

If anybody in the bolly industry has the knack of taking chances and doing something diff, SRK is one of them. But lately he has been overacting a lot. I mean A LOT, be it a movie or as a host. Somehow he seems to have lost his touch :(

RNBDJ was good. But MNIK was yuuuuuckk !! It's such a f**king stereotypical overacting nonsensical cliched crap that I feel pukish at it's name :|

Seriously the best among these kinda genre movies is Black. f**king amazing acting. Just acting like a mentally challenged person doesn't make you a good actor :|

Personally felt Guzaarish to be better than MNIK.

Nononono !! You got me wrong there.

I believe that SRK is really among the few who can actually do well in these kinda movies. It's just that he's not in his true form for the past year or so. MNIK's success went to hos head :|
