megzworld
Shor In The City - 5/10 ...very average movie...dealing with the lives of 3-4 people...this formula has been done quite a lot of times before...nothing much more then a timepass...dont know how the movie was getting good reviews etc dum maaro dum -8/10 ...well a stylish movie...it made no pretense of being a exceptional, and was very much entertaining as a action movie...i never expected it to be good,so yea surprised...abhishek for change acted good and was tolerable in the movie ... Obaid Bhai, why u didn't comment on my review of Dum Maro dum??

Ne0
I just wish hollywood takes a break from this superhero madness and gets back to some regular action movies like die hard or the bourne series. Edited May 4, 2011 by Ne0
Big Boss
^I prefer Super Heroes doing the antics rather than normal people. For example, put Bruce Willis from Unbreakable into Die Hard 4 and you dont need to suspend your disbelief completely while watching as you know Super Hero can do that stuff. Else you will say: WTF a normal old smartass cop just defeated a Fighter plane. Edited May 4, 2011 by ambar_hitman
Tyler
Like it or not, superhero movies are not gonna stop coming. They have been since the late 70s... although the number has considerably increased since Spider-Man (2000). Also on an average there are three to four major superhero movies every year. Thats not a lot if you count the number of other major action/sci-fi/thriller movies that are released in the same year. Some years however are overloaded with them... this year is a good example. But still non superhero blockbusters dominate the superhero ones. Superhero movies: The Green Hornet Thor Green Lantern Captain America X-Men: First Class Transformers 3 (I'll just throw this in here since TF was a comic too) Non-superhero action/sci-fi movies: The Mechanic Drive Angry Sucker Punch Hanna Source Code Unknown Battle: LA Fast Five Pirates 4 Super 8 Cowboys & Aliens Harry Potter MI-4 Rise of the Planet of the Apes Immortals Conan The Barbarian The Three Musketeers The Thing (remake) Sherlock Holmes 2 ...and I'm not even counting the lesser ones. dante77
yeah, its not that they are 'not' making non-superhero blockbuster. Last week we had source code, this week fast five, next week Priest. EDIT: @insider: you should have just before saying that.
