Bulovski
^^Right ho - I keep on forgetting the name. But brilliant movie - I saw it just before I saw Departed. Stephen Chow showed he's not just a comic actor. And Andy Lau was a surprise. I never saw parts 2 and 3 - apparently 2 is very good.
Daedalus
There have been multiple discussions about I Am Legend on previous pages of this thread. But yeah as a movie, I liked it.... but the ending just didn't feel right. When compared to the book it seems like the movie totally missed the whole point, especially the "I Am Legend" title. since i read he book years ago, i particularly didnt like how it ended i mean i kept expecting ann to turn into a nightwalker until the very end. the appearance of the survivors didnt help either

Ne0
I watched the longtime overdue - 'John Rambo (Rambo IV)'. Worst Rambo movie ever ! Hell, most of the times, I felt like I was watching a cheap B-grade movie ! Give it 2/10.

Tyler
Rambo was one of the best action flicks I've seen in recent times. Real throwback to the hardcore action movies of the 80s... As for the B-movie "look", it was done on purpose, to make the movie look gritty and worn out. I don't know how anyone who loves video games can hate the entire second half of the movie. It was pure carnage... bodies torn in half with .50 cal machine guns, heads blown off with sniper rifles, throats ripped off... you don't stuff like this in action movies too often these days. argruid
Yeah... I thought Rambo was friggin brilliant! Really brutal movie. I was thoroughly entertained What puzzles me is that the censor board allows total bloodshed to be shown, but has a problem with boobies.
Ne0
Watch 'first blood' and watch 'rambo IV', you'll notice the difference. 'First blood' was a kickass action movie, while rambo IV is just a lousy g-porn !
Tyler
The only "bad" Rambo was no. 3. It was mediocre at best and during that time the 80s action hero was starting to get old. Granted, by Die Hard / Predator / First Blood standards, Rambo (4) is not a classic. But when compared to the quick cutting PG-13 action flicks of today it was welcome change. _______________ Is Rambo officially available on DVD yet?
