Haha, It comes quite naturally for me. Ofcourse, discussing the movie with a couple of my friends who watched it also, who have similar tastes and reviewing characteristics as myself. Helps me draw up my opinion on the movie as a whole. Im sure you'll like it, Mohit. Excellent film.

This sh*t just surpasses all the other movies......just SUPER AWESOME :majesty: this is what Bryan Singer and Matthew Vaughn teamup gets ya

Completely a Bacon/Fassbender show!!! Though i would have preferred Bacon having more screen time.....He is just super-cool :coolspeak:

oh and the Wolverine cameo :roflroll:

I know a lot of things don't go with the continuity; but heck....this thing deserves it's own continuity.....very focused, very mature; no kiddy gimmicks.....MUST WATCH :majesty:

Will be helping myself with a second serving sometime soon :)

James McAvoy was more impressive than Bacon, infact the duo of Fassbender-McAvoy was very much similar to Spock-Kirk.

Man. Can't watch Shaitan or X-men for another week. :( Edit: And Super 8 too.

Also, watched the Hangover 2 and KFP2. Found hangover a very average movie but KFP2 was amazing. Funny thing happened during the show though, there was a problem with the projection and the 3D turned out to be really sucky. Normally I'm one of the few who has his 3D glassed removed coz of all the darkness and stupid 3D implementation but in this show almost everyone had them off. So I though boy, this implementation must really be pathetic. Way to ruin a perfectly good movie.

Then in the interval (which maybe was forced) the PVR guys came in and said there was a problem and they have fixed it and were willing to re-start the movie. :D

Yeah, a bunch of guys bitched a lot and even shouted at them (this was delhi after all :P ) but in the end it all worked out. The second half was all good and this was one of the few movies where 3D worked pretty well. I still don't care much for the tech though.

ROFL same happened here. As soon as that scene came on everyone was applauding and hooting. I couldnt even hear what he said. Need to see that bit again.

Amazing film though. Absolutely sublime. Right up there with Batman Begins as the best of super hero films. Fassbender just steals the show completely.

Also Rose Byrne.

Shaithan : 8/10

Watched Shaithan yesterday. Thought it was a very very good film. Even by global film standards it does very well.

When I first finished watching the movie, I was slightly disappointed. It promised to explore and provoke the dark-side in you. It really could have done that, the opportunity was there, but it missed it. But as hours went by I seem to be warming up to how good the movie really was. 24 hrs later I absolutely loved it.

Shaithan is an intense film that provokes a lot of sentiments that might be looked down upon by most film-makers. Its a very brave debut movie for the director. It definitely looks like Kashyap has played a significant part in the direction of the film. The funny part is, with 2-3 mins more screentime, they could have made this movie an easy 9.5/10 from me. There were a few points of the movie which I felt could have been explained so much better making it a more robust and deep story. All it needed was 30-40 seconds, at the most, each.

Having said that, its still excellent. The music score is superb and blends in seemlessly with the movie. All the actors were excellent, Rajiv Khandelwal was the real star (Khandelwal and wife scenes suck big time, they slow down the movie so much that I felt like killing that woman).

But its a must watch despite its flaws, as most of them arent significant. An excellent movie. WATCH IT.

Oooh.. will watch it for sure now :)
