TechGuitar
+1 Most of the movie I personally love are rated between 5.5 and 7 on IMDB. Replying to a post from 2007 I agree, could've been better. But a good movie overall. Liked the little twist at the end. So many possibilities there! Source code's ending made no sense at all. Had it ended 15 mins before, it would have been a great movie. But the director wanted to pull of a Christopher Nolan, so he did this thing at the end that really screwed it up. Tyler
SUCKER PUNCH EXTENDED CUT Big improvement over the theatrical version (which I totally loved btw!). Adds a musical number, a couple of important scenes (especially one with John Hamm's High Roller) and the dragon/orc sequence is extended with a lot more gun/swordplay. I have no idea why the movie got panned critically. It's a lot better than all of the summer "blockbusters" released so far. shekdown
The problem is when people think HP is a genre defining magnum opus It was interesting in the initial stages of the series but later on it was like some Tamil flick where the hero escapes every tricky situation with some contrived back-story created then and there to suit whatever happened. This. I especially hated how Harry Potter was a nearly invincible character, always being perfect and getting decisions right. Desperately wanted that douchebag to die in the last book , but Rowling inserts one of the most ridiculous plot devices to circumvent it. Very poor piece of writing. Also Dumbledore is such a blatant rip off of Gandalf. She didnt even bother to change his appearance. Edited June 21, 2011 by shekdown

supersim
Meh both are bloody brilliant . HP is more mainstream + appeals more to the younger generation + easier to read than LOTR .

Bird Bird Bird
not finished Deathly hallows o_0 blasphemy dont tell me its still unfinished.. Still unfinished. TBH, I have forgotten the whole story arc by now barring the major characters. :| You have an apt custom title. I read HP before reading LoTR. So Albus is still one of my fav characters. And I haven't read the last HP book, so I've no idea if he suddenly rises out of his grave and turns out to be Voldemort. :| @shekdown - I am f**king douchebag and have a shitty taste sorry my bad very very shitty taste in movies but I don't want my shitty movie to be spoiled by some random genious and smart guy like you on internet! you just spoiled the ending for me.
