Watched ZMND today. Nice movie, cinematography is just epic :majesty:

I like how people go gaga over similar movies from Hollywood and point fingers to Indian movies saying it's not real and stuff.

Watched an oldish movie called Ip man. Its about a legendary kung fu master who played a big part in the china japan war and went onto mentor Bruce Lee. The fight scenes were just EPIC.

Highly recommended if you like kung fu and period dramas.

And Donnie Yen ... :majesty:

Here's a fight scene from the movie.

Exactly my opinion...not a bad film but the film is visually stunning...

Hats of to the cinematographer :hi:

Saw Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows, movie is good but

Snapes Flashback was the best moment of not just the movie but all 8 movies combined.Alan Rickman :majesty: The sequence between Snape and Dumbledore was so amazing that the latter sequences including the final battle looked paler in comparison

I have Ip Man and Ip Man 2 lined up in my 'to watch' list.. Thinking of watching it in Cantonese with subs VS Watching Ip Man 1 with English audio.

@gaurav: I watched it in Cantonese with English subs. The dialog is pretty simple and sparse so reading the subs isn't really a problem.

Do post your impressions about the sequel here. Hope it lives up to the original's standards.

Well I wasn't even planning to see it with subs, initially thought "Oh good lemme get these movies and practice my Mandarin listening skills" and then I saw they were in Cantonese after 'acquiring' them... So much for practice

Went for Harry Potter 7 Part 2. One this is confirmed that I am never watching a film in 3D.. The colors are darker and there is nothing coming on your face as such. Then also the way Voldemort laughed "Harry Potter is dead!! Ayee Hey Hey" it completely killed the film for me. I read the whole series once a year and still the fear that Voldy inflicts in the books is scary. But he has been a dud in the movies and completely super duper dud after he laughed like that..

Repped. I saw this movie on a recommendation from a friend. Watch it with the subtitles totally worth it. Ip Man 2 was ok but the first one is better imo.
