Tyler
Watched IRON MAN!!!! OMFG I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!!! Its so damn awesome!!!! Cant wait for Iron man 2!!! Watched it last night too! Preview show @ Inox... FUN movie! RDJ was p-e-r-f-e-c-t. He made the movie 10 times better, the supporting cast was great as well. The action scenes kicked major a*s and kudos to the VFX/design dept for the Iron Man suit, it looked very cool. Still I'm a bit disappointed that the Samuel L Jackson as Nick Fury rumor was well... after all a rumor... Either way I'm gonna watch the movie again! Summer movie season is here baby! Keyofx
@Snake: Verrry nice. God I love that movie. So Iron Man's worth a watch after all eh? And I've always loved RDJ. Anyone remember him on Ally McBeal. I miss that show
TheCoCkyRussian
I just came back after watchin two movies straight(forbidden kingdom and iron man)after all today's a friday lol Iron Man was average id give it a 6.5 /10 and the good marks are just bacause of RDJ(this is his second movie i have seen of his in lead role, the first one was Chaplin)the main reason i didnt like the movie much was because the story got really boring after about 20 minutes and just started to take pace after interval and the most disappointing part is there are very less fighting sequences and there was no proper villian until the last 10 minutes(i mean a supervillian!!)cmon man what is a superhero movie without a super-villian... Bottom Line: Its a fine movie but if u are not in a hurry then u can just wait for an actual super-hero flick(The Dark Knight or Incredible Hulk) to go to the theaters for and watch this on dvd or blue ray if u have a good tv set.(note-- a couple of RDJ scenes are exceptionally done and anyone would love them and only an actor of his caliber can execute them properly) The Forbidden Kingdom was actually very good by my standards.id give it a deserving 7.9 or 8.0/10..this is if u like the blend of fantasy and martial arts.i actually wanted to see Jet Li and Jackie Chan in the same movie. The story is fine-just as good as any of those fantasy stories are(from what i know its taken from an actual Chinese myth--except that they didnt have any american dude in it)Martial Arts scenes are very well done ..isnt that obvious after having Jackie Chan and Jet Li in the same movie..For me the best fighting was when Jackie's character fought against Jet's character(maybe its because i wanted to see them fight from such a long time) Bottom Line:Watch this either in theaters or on Blue Ray(not on DVD's).i would recommend theaters if u are into martial arts flicks or fantasy movies or just want to enjoy it with young children(children or younger siblings ) Note:I was damn excited when i saw Jackie use drunken fist in this movie(some of his best movies of all time are Dunken Master(1978) and The Legend OF Drunken Master(1994)... Aftrunner
Holy crap Drunken master was brilliant. Some of the fight sequences in it are surreal. There are these long takes that are like one minute long (without any cuts) and they have so much going on your brain cant even process it. It makes that corridor fight in Old boy look easy. I haven't seen part 2 but I plan on watching it soon.

Other than that I have a plan with bigflicks.com and they have a hell of decent library. What I cant find there I look for in the dark corners of the web. Edit Oh you are in Delhi. We should pool our collection. I have a portable 500 GB HDD. Edited May 2, 2008 by Aftrunner

Ne0
Watched Ironman today, okie movie. Nothing too great or fantastic like 'Transformers' or 'spiderman' ! Was highly disappointed with the fight sequences, they are not that mindblowing as I had imagined. Or maybe my expectations were rather too high for the movie ! I would give it a 6/10. RDJ is good !
