achilles
Well since I found Thor to be quite idiotic, not expecting much from this. Let's see.
achilles
So I promised myself I won't waste my time watching bad movies this year. Captain America is without a doubt the worst I've seen till now. And I have even seen Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. CA is so juvenile with a*s worthy performances. From everyone. What f**king junk. Edit and this idiot was questioning Ironman in the trailer? The only 'super power' you have was given by Ironman's father you ungrateful bitch. shekdown
No way. CA > Thor >>>>> GL At the most maybe Thor > CA >>>> GL, but there's no way CA is anywhere near as bad as GL. Havent watched Thor or GL yet but I saw Capt America. Im surprised you liked it that much. I thought it was terrible. Stuff was happening with very little story. And way too much action, action which wasnt great either.

Stuff was happening with very little story. And way too much action, action which wasnt great either. I'm surprised all of you don't. I watched it well before I looked at any reviews. It had that 1940s feel and the characters were all there, the romance was better fleshed out and believable than in Thor. It was fun enough for an afternoon's worth of watching. The action 'looked' pretty good except for the slightly anti-climactic climax. Then when all of you started panning it, I went and checked the reviews and they're pretty good too. I don't get it
achilles
Just coz you've moved stateside you start believing in the captain? It's a terrible movie made for 10 year olds, even if that.

Solitaire
^ Well, you also like POTC 4. So... Now that was different. I said I didn't mind sitting through POTC4 (yes I know I made you watch ), I said it wasn't THAT bad. I didn't feel like watching it again though. CA wasn't quite on the 'bad' side. It was more like good but not awesome.

I don't get it Meh, I thought it was really bad. The only good thing in the film, for me, was the romance. Red Skull was supposed to be the bad-a*s bad guy and all he did was run. What was that cube thing? What is Hydra? Why didnt Hitler feature anywhere? Why didnt Hydra take over the Reich? Was it in the USA or was it in Germany? How were they shuttling between locations that fast? What motivated CA to all of a sudden take a flight and jump into whereever he jumped. Why was no tactical planning done. Why didnt they show his exploits in more than a poor montage footage of about 30 seconds. Why was there no real build-up to the final fight scene? What were those blue shots by the bad guys? Why did it always miss the good guys? Why didnt the Americans and CA team have those weapons? Why did they stick to pistols? I dunno, I have a million more questions. And Im not being cynical of the film. I went into watching the movie to just enjoy some masala stuff on a Sunday afternoon and was bitterly disappointed. There was no masala and it was a bland story.

I mean with all the tech he had, a handful of *American* soldiers (apart from CA) would just breeze in and conveniently kill all the baddies and destroy his establishments ! Felt like a 70-80's bollywood flick, only not as cool.

How is it that when CA is handling the plane that was supposed to kill the whole NYC or whatever and they're pussying around on the mic. I mean. What. The. Pug. Red skull was more like joke skull. It even killed Smith for me. Then there's that whole star wars type soldiers with shitty laser guns that never ever hit their mark. Oh and Vibranium? Another innovative word after Unobtanium? Real subtle. This movie is so poorly written (the dialog was cheesier than Dominos double burst),, scored and shot that i could not believe it's a Paramount release.. and the screenplay could've been done better by a 12 year old who is a drama class reject.
