I knew someone would bring LOTR 3, but if you see LOTR was one big book, was split into three parts, no way the third part could go bad. And for your toy story3/die hard 3 , I counter with Godfather 3 :P

Regarding prestige, so teleportation is perfectly realistic and plausible to you :ko: ?

dude I just said that not all three-quels are bad and just because a movie is based on a book doesn't make it a good movie...as for godfather, like I said in my prev. post,(in peter's words) I never cared for it..but I loved the book :P

there's no teleportation..that's the beauty of the movie..again, read FAQ on IMDB..

IIRC, there is no teleportation.

The machine makes a copy of whatever is placed in it,be it a hat, a cat or Hugh Jackman, only the copy spawns at some distance from the original.

With his magic trick, every time there's a new Jackman created, but one is killed with the water tank while the other appears before the audience.

Yes, but that spawning at some distance .... isn't that teleportation ? Thats how jackman is able to land up on the balcony while his duplicate gets drowned !

^^ I agree, it is science fiction, whatever the term may be. Not realistic or plausible as indusporous claims :P

Lol. It's never about real, plausible or available. It's about presentation, how anything is shown that makes it believable. The Prestige is amazing in that regard. The end left me, to use a corny term, flabbergasted.

'He’s brutal, brutal. He’s expedient delivery of brutality,' Hardy told Empire magazine recently.

'He’s a big dude who’s incredibly clinical, in the fact that he has a result-based and orientated fighting style. The result is clear.'

But Hardy didn't stop there when it came to explaining the fictional character's violent persona.

'The style is heavy-handed, heavy-footed, it’s nasty,' he added.

'Anything from small joint manipulation to crushing skulls, crushing rib cages, stamping on shins and knees and necks and collarbones and snapping heads off and tearing his fists through chests, ripping out spinal columns. It’s anything he can get away with.'

Hardy was hand-picked for the role by director, Christopher Nolan, and it's clear to see why.

The actor is definitely enthusiastic about the role and was even dismissive of the 12 certificate that the film has been given.

'I’m not approaching it with a 12-certificate attitude,' he told the film magazine.

'If we’re going to shoot somebody, shoot the pregnant woman or the old lady first. Make sure everybody stands up. And listens.

'He is a terrorist in his mentality as well as brutal action. So he’s horrible. A really horrible piece of work.

'It’s not about fighting. It’s just about carnage with Bane. He’s a smashing machine. He’s a wrecking ball.'
