Big Boss
Saw Rise of the Planet of the Apes: 9/10 What an amazing movie. Hats off to special effects and emotional story telling. I was silly to miss it in the theaters when it was released.
dante77
I don't why you guys liked it so much or it may be just me but I thought the movie was about apes getting dominant over mankind like how it all started. Now, unless there is a sequel planned the whole movie would be irrelevant to the original.

It rebooted the franchise successfully. IMO its one of the best reboots EVER, comparable to Batman Begins.

lightUTSaber
Sherlock Holmes: A game of Shadows. Excellent acting, writing, directing. The twist and turns are gr8,the bro-mance is real good and Robert shines all the more. If u ask me this one deserves much more attention then MI4,which is nothing but a series of set pieces, with little bit of story here and there. Oxygen Contraption any one?? They are rebooting the franchise. There can be several possible sequels, like there is a missing space ship called Icarus shown on News channels in movie, which is a nod to first Planet of the Apes movie, then they have shown pandemic hitting the world in the post credits scene. I bet the next movie will feature an all out war between Apes and Humans.

Ne0
^^+1. Its a good thriller, which went unnoticed by many. BTW saw FD 5, felt it was more gory than its prequels. Anyway, good one time watch. The ending was the best part. Never expected it at all ! Edited January 16, 2012 by Ne0
Big Boss
You mean there is a chance of sequel in development Yes, its pretty much confirmed. Also saw: A history of violence: 7.5/10. Good movie with lots of unanswered questions Real Steel: 8.5/10, Good movie, kinda slow, but good acting by Jackman and that kid. Watching LOTR triology this weekend. dante77
saw Immortals last night, surprisingly good! better than expected. I was expecting another TOT with a little change in story. I liked the unrealistic look of it and that guy Henry Cavill is actually better than sam worthington. It was his first movie that I watched though. Also,Mickey Rourke is a BOSS. Edited January 16, 2012 by dante77

Big Boss
So you are finally giving in to watch LOTR..Get ready for an epic weekend(if that genre movie appeals to you that is..) Unfortunately, that genre is not exactly my type. But with Skyrim and people going apeshit over Hobbit, I thought I gotta see the trilogy.
