Systematic
Saw "Vantage Point" today, very interesting movie although the whole different perspective thing didn't work as smooth as it could have.

skdMrk
More on the above [REC]2 poster here The original Spanish [REC] is one of my favorite horror films of the last few years. Everything that Romero tried to do in DIARY OF THE DEAD they actually succeed in doing with this movie. Of course, [REC] is being remade as QUARANTINE here (DO NOT WATCH THAT TRAILER, BY THE WAY... THEY GIVE AWAY EVERYTHING, INCLUDING THE LAST SHOT OF BOTH THE ORIGINAL AND THE REMAKE!), but the original filmmakers, Jaume Balaguero and Paco Plaza, are starting up their own sequel and DDog sent in the poster which looks to originate from Aullidos.com. If you don't know the story, [Rec] follows a TV reporter on her "night with the fireman" puff piece story. This takes her and her cameraman into a building on a routine call... while inside the building it is quarantined and they are all trapped inside as we find out why it is being quarantined. Frightening stuff, very smartly done and good god almighty Manuela Velasco is gorgeous. Have no idea what they'd do for a sequel, but if they bring even half of the scares it'll be a great movie. zen
^^oh i thought the poster was for the eye.REC was great until they lost the realism and everybody started screaming over each other.the zombie flick to forward to is 28 months later. Keyofx
REC2 eh? HMMMMM. Loved the original though. And I mean REALLY loved the original. @zen: The last I read about it was that Doyle was toying with a Zombie flick set in India. Don't really know if he was referring to 28 months or another movie altogether.
Keyofx
+1 aman. Ex Machine was quite average. A nice looking cash in, but a cash in nonetheless. Just like Vexille. I found the Appleseed remake nice though. @Sahil: If you found Ex Machina good, the REAL good stuff will blow your mind, hehe.
