So I tried downloading subs separately but haven't been able to find a single good English sub which doesnt lags atleast 10 secs during the scenes.. Its almost unwatchable.. Please help if u have seen that movie and have a good subtitle file for it... The name of the torrent which I downloaded was - I SAW THE DEVIL [2010] DVD Rip Xvid [stB] If you're using VLC.Go to Track Synchronization under Tools and you could advance the subs by 10s to get rid of the lag. Hi guys, Sorry for troubling again but I tried what you said but it didn't rectify the problem becoz after a few scenes the lag again reached 10-15 secs... I found this in comments of the torrent, if u can tell me what is this exactly telling me to do it would be really helpful:- "After much consternation trying to find a subtitles like everyone else, I realized the movie was shorter than it's supposed to be--of course, it's encoded as PAL instead of NTSC (25 fps instead of 23.976). All the subtitles online are for the NTSC length. Thus, to play you'll need to either re-encode the file at the slower framerate or speed up the subtitles (an option in VLC)." I also downloaded a subtitle modifier but I dont know what value should I change for it to work properly.. You could either Re-encode the file to 23.976 FPS using Encoders [Freeware] such as HandBrake or just advance the subs by a few more seconds during the scenes in which the lag occurs. I know the ones in the movies are from human chestbursters, however I was referring to them having that rib-cagey look and stuff similar to the Space Jockey they find in the ship. Ne0 Posted March 19, 2012 Report Share Posted March 19, 2012 (edited) Saw some nice movies: 1. Kahaani - 8/10. Very good. An overall decent plot with a nice twist at the end. I was engrossed throughout. Vidya balan is picking her movies quite well. 2. Carnage - 6/10. The movie starts off very well, but ends abruptly. Its too short, but good laugh riot while it lasts.
