Karooo Posted June 29, 2012 Report Share Posted June 29, 2012 Saw the film. The 3D effect was somewhat mild and it seems that they only intensified it during the combat sequences. I don't think Garfield is a suitable Spider-Man, not because he is terrible at it but because he is too cool to be one. The part where Parker was supposed to be a loser wasn't portrayed very well by him, and you can't blame him either because it doesn't come naturally to him. There were some epic moments in the film though, especially the basketball scene where everyone in the audience went, "OOOOOOH!!". I don't think the lizard dude was that great either. He wasn't menacing enough and I guess the simplistic plot didn't do his character justice. However, the chemistry between Garfield and Stone was incredible, and they really looked good together. Overall, it feels like the same origin stuff that you saw in the previous Spidey films; nothing too interesting here. Production values are pretty good though, especially when Spidey is swinging through the city, it looks incredible in 3D. I really hate the fact that they did the origin thing again, but this movie will get a sequel soon based on what I saw after the credits. Also, Irfan Khan was good. Actually if you see since Jism is all about how dangerous womens body can be.So she is quite perfect for it bcoz of her body, her body is a deadly combination of Hotness,Cuteness and beauty.....I really like her....
