The Amazing Spiderman is a disappointment. Definitely made for Twilight fans, the action sequences are few and far between. Garfield overacts like his life depends on him turning the ham up to 11. The editing in the first half is terrible.

The few action pieces there are, are stunning though.

Peter relationship with Gwen was always as important as his role as a superhero in Spiderman Comics

The Problem with Spiderman movie was that it was coming out as a reboot. I liked Avengers and Spiderman equally.

And obviously since they removed most parts from the first to the second movie , i expect that they have really big plans for the second movie.

Imagine Peter taking the wanted poster, pinning it to his board and saying, "I'll take care of you later" (of course implying that The Lizard needs immediate attention and that Ben's killer can wait)

IIRC He has it pinned to the board in his room until the end.

i just wanna go into hibernation mode till the d-day :|

For once, I'm gonna avoid all these spoiler links as much as I can. Really wanna watch the movie first for a change without spoiling it for myself

I'm going to be in San Diego during Comic Con  Sadly no tickets left :(

@Gaurav - I know he does. That's why I used that example.. my point was that he should've said that line, instead of just leaving the plot line hanging. He goes on a trip to search for Bens killer and then its forgotten about, never mentioned again.

Okay, the advance bookings for TDKR haven't started yet. Tried to book today and BMS will take my booking but it's a bunch of guesswork and I won't know where I'll actually end up.

Also saw Batman Under The Red Hood, liked it. Have seen Batman Begins & TDK countless times already so interested in the animated ones now, saw Year One too. Need more suggestions on movies like these. It's gonna be a Batman Week. :D

Under the Red Hood is pretty awesome! :D

Do watch these too

Mask of the Phantasm (gives a better insight into bruce's side)

Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker(Awesome plot, and the flashback scene gives me goosebumps!)

I knew you gonna be very pissed at that statement. :P

Even i didn't like batman in my childhood ... But when we see or INDIA and our MINISTERS .. we'all want to be a bunch of BATMAN to kick some corrupt a*ses ... :batman:

Chalo koi toh hai ...jjoh mera jaisa socta tha..

seriously PS how could you? one of the things I like about IVG is that most of the members like batman, in my childhood days, when I used to say that my favorite hero is batman and superman sux, my friends laugh at me and I thought I was the only one who likes batman but thanx to internet. And Superman remains the worst superhero EVER.

EDIT: and how come you guys don't like a superhero in childhood and then makes him your favorite. Chullu bhar paani me doob maro sab <_<

Arey , Even i use to have and still have many favourite superhero. I use to religiously see x-men cartoon...infact had fights with siblings over tv just to watch that x-men cartoon on tv.

Batman tbh was not something all kids would like....some may love it ,some may hate it.There was no middle parth here. Batman as character is very mature concept....it took me sometime to release that.

@PS - that's a real shame bro. Batman The Animated Series was really good IMO.

I know...but for some reason found it boring so never followed it much. But things have changed now....B)

Dude achilles, watch all DC Movies for Batman and Superman. Most are good and remaining are worth a watch.

Just watched Superman vs The Elite: Great movie. I really liked the philosophical touch.
