phreak
Dude, forget to mention Ra.One? Doh. - I seriously don't understand why people can't accept a 'raw' superhero film. Want popcorn entertainment-- go watch old superman, marvel films (which no one remembers after their respective release period). Nolan could have easily made the easy way and selected another villain -- make more geeky-gadgety-fun film. He didn't. I don't know if anyone would even risk making such a conclusion for a trilogy. For that, respect. Take my word-- In a decade, people would consider TDKR a cult classic, just for the novelty of it, the raw essence of it. rockstarnet
welcome to the club, i saw it the second time, and now i think it is just another action movie. Might have been a good ending to the trilogy, but weakest of the three, and i am not even sure if i will watch it two times on blu ray when i get it. I have seen it 3 times.First time I was mind-blown.Second time I was bored for most part of the film except some of the action sequences and that terrific climbing scene.Third time I enjoyed more than the second time I watched it. All in all it is the weakest of all three.Batman Begins was more complete as a movie and it just felt right. The Dark Knight was possibly the best cinematic experience anyone can have and remains the best of all three for me. Their opinion bro ,will their opinion change your perception about the movie ? No .I have never seen this much hype, this much anticipation for a movie and the movies biggest accomplishment is that it delivered on it.Sure some people will say that TDK was better but that does not mean Rises is a bad movie and I think majority on IVG are saying that Rises is inferior to its prequel but not a bad movie . Also you talking about a decade, lemme tell you the 2 times I saw the movie I have never experienced such a reaction from the crowd when we see the ending or the applause when the credits roll The applause was not just for this movie ,it was for the trilogy .Nolan has created something special here,he has created a superhero who fans can relate to .All these 3 movies will be the movies that defined our generation .

Stevie G
Some reasonable explanations to some of Rises so called plotholes When Bruce Wayne finally escapes from the prison that Bane left him in overseas, he somehow manages to get back to Gotham without any money or any allies to help him do it. Furthermore there seemed to be no way for him to sneak back into the city unnoticed since every exit and entrance was guarded by the military. However, as shown in Batman Begins, Bruce Wayne spent several years running around the world and living in poverty, so he clearly has the capability and know-how to survive without his wealth. Furthermore, he would probably be able to figure out how to sneak in or out of Gotham even under such adverse circumstances. 3,000 police officers are trapped underground for 3 months, kept alive by food parcels, yet when they are released, not one of them shows signs of significant beard growth. However, several of them do have stubble during the crowd shots prior to the fight on Wall Street. Furthermore, it's never shown what's exactly in all the parcels, so it would be reasonable to assume that razors and other hygienic tools (I.E: Bedpans) might be included as well. At the end of the movie, the bomb (with a blast radius of six miles) is flown out to sea and allowed to detonate some couple of hundred meters above sea-level; the tsunami that should result from this does not take place. Nuclear bombs detonated over the water don't cause tsunamis. After saving the Catwoman from Banes men on the rooftop Batman parks the Bat in the cave followed by the scene where Alfred tells him about the letter and leaves. When Bruce Wayne returns from the prison and saves Fox with the help of Catwoman and Fox asks where did you park the Bat, it is parked at the rooftop of a building rather than where he left it, in the cave. Batman likely flew it to the roof top on his way to meet Catwoman in the subway. We don't see him travel there.

Params7
Its getting sh*t on by critics http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/total_recall_2010/ The original, for comparison: http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/total_recall/ Just from the trailer it looks like a generic sci-fi movie with generic action. Where's the red planet? Where's the mind shattering technology? I haven't seen the movie yet but nothing impressed me in the trailer. I'm going to see this movie for Kate Beckinsale mainly (her hubby directed the movie, the same one who does Underworld movies) so we're going to see plenty of her but other than that I'm expecting it to suck. Yeah, actually Batman Begins was better of the three, but the movie feels a bit outdated after TDK released. Actually, if not for Joker's terrific performance, Batman Begins towers over both the TDK movies .... it really felt like a superhero movie. Both the TDK movies were more of crime thrillers.
