They cut gore too. They did for Inglorious Basterds at least

Ya they did. But Argo has no gore/nudity, so don't worry. Actually it is a very simple movie based on actual events, there is no fiction or unnecessary violence. Worth watching in the theater.

Has anyone here watched Argo in the theatre? Thinking of going but noticed that it's rated A, and I don't want to see a cut version

how did it get the A version. There is no gore or nudity in the movie, there is just use of the F word in few places, but its the superb phrase "ArgoF**K yoursef"

Saw both MkBkM and Inkaar. Don't really get the hate for MkBkM. Pankaj Kapoor does a one man show ! :majesty: Enjoyed the movie.

Inkaar turned out to be better than what I expected. Of course there was overacting (and underacting - if that's a word), but overall you'll want to know what happens in the end. Between the 2, Inkaar is a tad better overall.

MKBKM: 1.5/10. 1 point due to Pankaj Kapur and 0.5 due to Anushka. Extremely pathetic and predictable POS movie. Was almost about to walk out during interval. Some scenes belong to a Sajid Khan or Rohit Shetty movie.

If anyone rates this movie well and then criticizes Sajid Khan's movies for over the top stupid comedy, then they have some serious soul searching to do.

Thank god for this. From the day I saw this movie, I am trying to understand what people who said they liked this movie actually liked in it...There was hardly any scene which even remotely made me interested in this movie. There was absolutely no story in this. The thing where one of them gets a troop from Africa to play folk songs - I mean seriously? Pankaj Kapoor was good but I do not think he did a brilliant role. Most of his dialogues were while he was drunk and required some attention to understand. I saw this in PVR and many people were laughing at the bencho bencho joke again and again. Again I had no clue what was so funny in that...

Many people told me that this movie is a satire, there are subtle scenes in it - I say to them - Stop telling me all the newspaper reviews. This movie is sh*t - Period!

Only those for him word bencho is so novel that they have rarely used it will laugh on that. That airplane scene, the cowdung scene, the whole drama near swimming pool, the pink buffalo, everything was so cringeworthy and full of sh*t, it didn't even bring a smile on face, let alone laughter. Before interval, around 10 people walked out and I was about to too, but the praises here made me believe that something remotely interesting might happen in the end. But nothing. Subtle satire my a*s.

And that troop remains there till the end and helps Matru and other folks in their so called "plan" Excellent continuity, shows the genius of Vishal Bharadwaj

Lol. Had this been a Hollywood movie with Anthony Hopkins, Brad Pitt and Anne Hathway, the very same people would go ZOMGBBQWTFTHATASSHAVEMYBABIES !!

Not defending the movie, but it had satire, and most of it was delegated via songs. Obviously the guy who played Bijli's BF was supposed to be portrayed like an a*s, and hence the stupid scenes. It's not the most brilliant writing, but it is way above the likes of Sajid Khan/Akshay Kumar movies. Plus playing a drunken man to perfection is something few actors can do, and Pankaj Kapoor is one of them.
