Really? hey if it can get more awesome gratuitously grotesque war scenes featuring dismemberment, giant mutated beasts and war cries then I am all for it. Story is so far in the back seat that it might as well be in an attached wagon. 300 had a plot of 8 lines, tops and that too with heavy white bias but it was all rendered irrelevant by cinematography, action scenes, score and unabashed pledge to balls to walls mayhem uniting all men to acknowledge and satiate their most basic primal thirst for bloodshed. IMO the people who have read the respective stories or novels are the biggest movie bashers. They are the ones who start comparing movies with what was in the storybook. Like the IM3 discussion above or Harry potter or LOTR etc. I've only heard -ve reviews from people who read the novels and then watched these movies. The movies are an adaptation of the story, which doesn't necessarily mean it will present us with the exact storyline as depicted in the novel/book.
