saw it.did not appeal to me.reminded me of our own Asoka.

but let me tell you about a film that i just finished watching called The chaser. one of the most brilliant thrillers i have ever seen. it final 30 minutes makes silence of the lambs look like, well like lambs or something. must watch film.

Chaser is one of the BEST movies of the year. Its a damn shame most people would rather watch a big name studio film instead.

And to think this was the directors first film. I've asked this before: what the f**k do they add to the water in South Korea?

How do you guys feel after you watched this movie,This is like some Hollywood- Bollywood. This movies has scenes just like in the Movie INDIANA JONES and even the under the radar kept Prince of Persia.

I say this is just an other normal movie except some dam magician comes in as a Villan and Priyanka just as a sidekick for Abhishek.I waited and had great anticipation for this movie, but all fell after watching it.

Hmm i've seen only 2 of Adam Sandler's movies, both of them belonging to the comedy category (Click or something and now You dont mess with the Zohan) and even though his acting may be good, the movies overall aren't.Then again ive seen only 2 :D

watch Happy Gilmore.... it's fun...

Watched EAGLE EYE last weekend (I'm in the US)... Despite the totally implausible plot, I found it surprisingly entertaining! Kinda like a mix of Enemy Of The State, Die Hard 4 and

I Robot

... (the last comparison gives away the movie's twist)

I watched 3 movies over the past weeks, all just a tad better or worse than the other. Watch at your own risk.

The Perfect Assistant

perfect_assistant_t.jpg

Straight to video goodness. Office romance gone bad - Psycho secretary (or should I say executive assistant?) tries to woo upper management guy.. yada, yada, yada. Cliched from start to end. I liked this one. :wallbash:

Stuck

Okay this Mena Suvari's bazoombas movie is supposed to be based on a true Mena Suvari's melons story. It delivers Mena Suvari's knockers a few thrills - gross at times but ah what the hell let's be fair. You care for the charactersMena Suvari's tits and root for the victim. Watchable fare. And before I conclude, I must stress that Mena Suvari's racks pop out in a few frames.

Midnight Meat Train

This apparently is an adapation of Clive Barker's short story. But for some f**king reason, the director saw it appropriate to leave out all the fine details and plot points to tell a wtf story thereby leaving it up to the audiences to google and decipher the rest. I say, f**k you director, I need closure when I scrape the leftovers off my couch and head to bed. I do not have the patience to look at the original material and research your ending half drunk.

Anyways, this was again worth seeing though, considering the promising camerawork, sets and for being the gore fest with a ridiculous twist.

So I saw Hellboy last night and I think Del Toro has lost his fkin marbles. Embaressing characters, terrible acting, plot loopholes galore... the list goes on. The first half was kinda cool with Hellboy fighting supernatural scum et all but after that it just went to the fkin dogs.

saw some movies:

The Green Mile

A Wednesday

Clerks (some long time back, but thought its worth mentioning :))

Clerks is the most hilarious and over-the-top sh*t you can see. Leave your brains behind and watch it, you will be rofl laughing your a*s off

The Green Mile was good, classic Tom Hanks.

A Wednesday is worth a watch as well. It sorta rings in with the current atmosphere in our country. Though the movie is very predictable, you just feel like cheering at Naseeruddin Shah's dialogues.

Stuck is recommended, as are other Stuart Gordon films like Reanimator and Dagon. Very nicely done, no supernatural elements at all unlike the stuff he normally does, but still gory as all hell and funny at the most inopportune moments.

Midnight Meat Train is a Kitamura film so you can't really expect too much in terms of sound film making. I haven't seen it yet but Vinnie Jones looks absolutely hilarious in the stills. He also tends to do random Japanese genre films. Arun, you should check out Survive Style 5+. It's got Vinnie, Sonny Chiba and Tadanobu Asano (mentioned him a page back w.r.t. Mongol) among others in it. Fantastic film, and the female in the Asano segment is worth the trouble all by herself.

You might also want to give this a try:

Jack-Brooks-poster.jpg

It's old fashioned movie making with monster costumes and gallons of the red stuff, none of your new fangled CG nonsense. It's also got good old Freddy Krueger in it and boy, is he having 'fun' with the kids all over again. hehehehe.

Edit: Just what is your function in life?

Friedmans was excellent but THIS was a lot more powerful, I thought. Nice list though. I'm not very good with instant recommendations but you should try THIS out, just off the top of my head.

Mr. Death looks really interesting, and you actually saw Salesman!

All I got to watch the last month was Herzog's Encounters at the End of the World and Up the Yangtze.

I also saw this really good newsreel-esque documentary series on the last great war. You'll love it if you're a history nut.

The True Glory

The Desert Victory

The Burma Victory
