Well it ended at the episode 20-25 mark as per the anime, where kenshin faced the gunman, but it was ideal to go for the kyoto arc, since Mokoto shishio would make it a awesome movie, i was hoping b4 a new movie they would hopefully release the 1st one globally as it was rumored but i guess that is not happening or it's on hold

Which gunman? God It's been so long. The only gun I can remember is the one used in the Ayoshi Shinamori fight

A weapon doesn't make a man.

..haa...remember that from a dbz episode long back.

I'm no big fan of Hawkeye but his specialty lies in his aim...not just his bow and a quiver full of arrows. What guns does batman use...ofc he does have an enviable arsenal of other knickknacks but at the end of the day he never uses a rifle or any thing of that sort. Another hero that comes to mind is Cap'n america...uses a stupid shield..indestructible or not..it's a shield. His strength augmentation from the serum doesn't count when heavy hitters like supes n thor come into play...for all intents and purposes he's just as strong as Hawkeye in that case. Hawkeye is not super-awesome...but he does deserve more credit than you give...no?

I am talking real life implications of using bow and arrow in age of automatic guns and you are bringing dbz in that . Let us keep it within marvel aiight? unless and until mcu characters start building spirit bombs and having 5 episodes worth of stare downs.

In marvel universe, with superpowered people around him hawkeye is using weapons from crusades. And he doesnt even have a mutant marksman power unlike Bulls-eye who, for what it is worth, uses everything else than a robin hood arsenal.

Captain's shield is very impressive. You cant say "take out its indestructibility" when it is literally made out of the strongest, most durable metal ever known in its universe- vibranium. Barring thor's enchanted hammer thats made of Uru, captain's shield can withstand any other force- be it wolverine's adamantium (that was made while trying to replicate vabranium and steel alloy that made the shield and is close second to said shield) or hulk's raged out punches. Even thor's hammer has been known to at best dent/deform the shield, not break it.

As for steve roger's juiced up drug, it does more than 6-7% increase over peak human levels. It prevents the formation of lactic acid, meaning cap' can go on fighting indefinitely without getting fatigued, his bones might break due to overuse but his stamina would not.

Now that we have established caps' utility let me show how Hawkeye is quite possibility the worst shoe-in in a super hero team. And mind you, I am in no way a fan of having non powered "super"heroes standing toe to toe with heavy hitters in case of a galactic calamity.

Batman has been shown to be a walking encyclopedia of all things comprehensible and then some. Even though superman should be the most smart person on planet because his brain, memory and learning/reading/analytical capacity should be as advanced as his other senses are vis-a-vis humans.

Anyhoo, he is shown to be insanely resourceful and has incomprehensible gadgets fueled by his wealth and fills in for the standard creepy guy of the group role.

What does Hawkeye bring to a team facing threats from aliens? if he is so advanced in aiming then why doesnt he use guns, which any one with functioning brain and general understanding of knowing how throwing stuff works should know are more useful than archery in every way possible, this is not even debatable.

Natasha has boobs and brings T&A. Hawkeye doesnt even have that 'having plan for everything' deus ex machina that is associated with most non powered heroes like Question, mr. Terrific, batman, black panther, etc.

He is cool just because we are told he is so, without showing any reason.

Whatever u said above are all part of the arrow tv show as well....strange, as it seems to be a blatant rip off! Not sure which superhero was made first!

Green Arrow was created in 1940s and Hawkeye in 1960s.

But how are they drilling ? Isnt Jupiter made out mostly of gas ? Or am I confusing it with saturn?

The planets (Jupiter and Saturn) themselves are gas giants but their moons are some of the most interesting bodies on their own account. Europa, Callisto and Ganymede are considered (hypothesised) to hold a massive reservoir of water is some form below their immediate surface.

Most human space-faring thesis to send manned exploratory missions beyond the Solar system theorise we would have to build a network of supply bunks / stops at Mars, one of these Galilean moons and then the only manned deep space missions will be feasible.

^Europa is one of Jupiter's moons. They've released a couple of clips. Check them out, specially the one in which she's out trying to collect samples.

Hey thanks. I mistook the trailer as a show for Jupiter instead of one of its moons :|

I don't see a reason to muster enough energy to defend Hawkeye or even make a passionate argument for his case as he's hardly one of my favourites. However he's cool and that's all the reason you need to plug in a character into any super team. Real life implications??..get over it..do you know some people still worship Thor? and in marvel he's merely an elevated superhero. Marvel (and comics in general) features exist outside the realm of possibility and that's one of the reasons we enjoy them as much as we do.

Captain america's shield isn't just vibranium...it's a mixture of admantium and vibranium. More Admantium on the surface and more Vibranium on the inside. Thor's hammer broke celestials' armor on more than occasion. Hell, RKT destroyed wolverin'e claws and the Cap's shield with his eye-beams. As for the indefinite nature of his stamina - A souped up statistic that marvel's notorious for...for the purpose of hype...do you really believe he can go on fighting for all eternity?...it's like the sentry's million sun explosion power or whatever.

Captain is a boring hero at the end of the day. Not a boring personality but a boring hero..thank heavens he wasn't bringing the pain in the LA flick.

Batman - I'm not even going to start with him. I know a lot of people love him and I like him too. It's just that I find it hard to believe his portrayal as a champion among heroes with guys like supes and flash (and even GL) on the team. One punch from supes and he's dust. It's just superman's boyscout persona and bat's own inclination that preserves the caped crusader's life. His knickknacks and super detective skills don't do squat against plain ol' strength and nigh invulnerability.

Having said that, I think we better not proceed forward as I'm afraid this will just spoil this thread.

It is. Looking for some suggestions on good ones that I might've missed. Check 'Primer' if you haven't already. Made on a shoe-string budget but rocks your socks off.

Jacob's ladder (huge inspiration for silent hill).

12 monkeys.

Session 9.

Brazil.

Noroi (the curse).

In the mouth of madness.

Naked lunch.

Spider (2002).

Dark water.

The ninth configuration (twinkle, twinkle, killer kane).

The Manchurian candidate.

Strange days (pre split cameron and bigelow with voldemort).

Angel heart.

Dont look now.

Arlington road.

La moustache (2005).

Repulsion.

The Nines.

And some david lynch's works. Though they are more into surreal mystic than pure mindf**k.
