Good decision. Movie was pretty LAME!

Edit: IMHO!

Rule # 1: Always decide for yourself. Let not IMDB warriors and the dudebro crowd dissaude you from watching anything. Ever.

Prometheus Rocked hard. All those who say otherwise are either in denial or those who genuinely couldn't get all the subtle hints the movie paints before you. All the cry-babies whining about not getting answers to questions or about the open-ended nature of the flick only need to do a little research online. Almost everything is clearly laid out if you're patient enough to follow and generous enough to give the plot a chance. The twitch-mob doesn't appreciate it,Sure but it isn't made for them. Watch it.

+1

Many people here liked Prometheus.

Prometheus was awesome. You should have watched it. Worth watching twice!

Whiners gonna whine :P

This.

Finally, here's a video that explains everything for the average viewer to the nerd-rage fuelled 'Aliens' fanboy :

The video is around half-hour long. So get ready to keep your butt still in your seat. Also, DO NOT WATCH THIS BEFORE VIEWING THE ACTUAL MOVIE.

Saw The Wolverine. I liked it. :D It's a good movie.

It's much much better than Origins and Last Stand. The plot is simple and focused, there are no shoe-horned mutants just for the sake of it like Origins had (well there is only 1)

Btw, guys

STAY FOR MID CREDITS SCENE. IT'S AWESOME.

What I didn't understand in the movie:

1. How does Wolverine remember the events of Nagasaki in 1945. Didn't his memory get wiped out by the silver bullet in Origins? (which I'm pretty sure took place after WW2) Also why is he suddenly getting nightmares of that?

2. Mariko's father says to her: "Certains recessive genes skip generations. Hair, body, talents. Father saw something in you he didn't see in me"

What is he referring to? I thought they would reveal that she had some mutant ability but they didn't.

3. "You think you can talk big standing there with your red underwear?" - I know there was a literal guy standing there in red underwear but I can't help but feel that was a dig at Superman :P

The only real problem I had with the movie was that white woman. She looked completely out of place. Everything else looked authentic and fine. She didn't even need to be there really.

Some scenes drag on for too long but that's not a major complaint.

Well it figures. Looks like they plan to release an unrated version on Blu-Ray/DVD.

Though the comic book world can be a very dark place, what with all those evil supervillains and bloody battles and heroic deaths and whatnot, a comic book movie director can only show so much of that stuff without risking the film’s commercial prospects. Mainstream superhero tales will push the constraints of the PG-13 rating as far as they’ll stretch, but it’s very rare that they’ll actually break through them.

But hey, that’s what unrated director’s cuts are for. In the case of The Wolverine, James Mangold states that while he’s “very happy” with the theatrical cut, he has plans to release an even more violent unrated edition for home video. Hit the jump to see what he wants to add in.

Mangold discussed his DVD/Blu-ray plans with Digital Spy. “I’m very happy with the cut, and the studio was very generous in terms of letting me finish the movie as I wanted, but I do think we will have a slightly more violent version… let’s say an unrated, a bloodier version,” he said.

The filmmaker elaborated on exactly which scenes he’s eager to include in the home video release.

There’s about ten or 12 minutes of scenes that I’d love people to see, that we’ll produce some kind of longer version of the movie at some point on Blu-ray or whatever. There’s another great scene with Hiro Sanada and a much more elaborate battle with ninjas from the third act that is a pretty huge battle sequence that you’ll see.

After Credit scenes are a trend now, why can't they show it earlier as if we're gonna remember all those names

Damn!! When movie ends people starts to rush out of the theater and that projector guy (a**hole) shuts off the projector :furious:

in the middle of the credits, no matter what ..!! even on the theaters like PVR, Cinemax etc.

Don't worry. You'll have to wait only 1 or 2 minutes. It comes right after the main cast is over. Our theatre was only half full and most people still hadn't left when the scene came.

So ya had Despicable me (2nd time) and Pacific Rim, in 3D, back to back.

Pacific rim in full IMAX glory. 3D was decent, no "in-your-your" face effects. For some reason the I have started finding 3D movies in IMAX a bit worse than compared to non IMAX theatres. I don't know why.

Loved every bit of Pacific Rim, except final battle was some what smaller....

Huh? It's not a mistake. He starts eating and then keeps the stick in that position again, forgetting what she had said earlier either because he was focussing on the story being told or he didn't think the custom important . Then she removes it again.
