Saw Now you see me. Movie starts off very well, but has too many twists and unanswered questions and a terrible ending. I would rate it 6/10.

If anyone liked the Ocean series, this is a must watch in my opinion. I liked it all the way (even though it seemed a bit more on the unrealistic side).I personally would give it a 7.

In THE EXPENDABLES 3, Barney (Stallone), Christmas (Statham) and the rest of the team comes face-to-face with Conrad Stonebanks (Gibson), who years ago co-founded The Expendables with Barney. Stonebanks subsequently became a ruthless arms trader and someone who Barney was forced to kill or so he thought. Stonebanks, who eluded death once before, now is making it his mission to end The Expendables -- but Barney has other plans. Barney decides that he has to fight old blood with new blood, and brings in a new era of Expendables team members, recruiting individuals who are younger, faster and more tech-savvy. The latest mission becomes a clash of classic old-school style versus high-tech expertise in the Expendables most personal battle yet.

Ben Affleck to Play Batman in Man of Steel Sequel
Warner Bros. has announced Affleck is the new Dark Knight.
by Lucy O'Brien
AUGUST 22, 2013

Ben Affleck is set to star as Batman in Zack Snyder's Man of Steel sequel, Warner Bros. has announced.

“We knew we needed an extraordinary actor to take on one of DC Comics’ most enduringly popular Super Heroes, and Ben Affleck certainly fits that bill, and then some" said Greg Silverman, President of Creative Development and Worldwide Production at Warner Bros. earlier today. "His outstanding career is a testament to his talent and we know he and Zack will bring new dimension to the duality of this character.”

“Ben provides an interesting counter-balance to Henry’s Superman," added director Snyder. He has the acting chops to create a layered portrayal of a man who is older and wiser than Clark Kent and bears the scars of a seasoned crime fighter, but retain the charm that the world sees in billionaire Bruce Wayne. I can’t wait to work with him.”

“We are so thrilled that Ben is continuing Warner Bros.’ remarkable legacy with the character of Batman," continued Worldwide Marketing and International Distribution President Sue Kroll. He is a tremendously gifted actor who will make this role his own in this already much-anticipated pairing of these two beloved heroes."

Warner Bros. has a longstanding relationship with Affleck. His most recent hit for the studio was 2012's Argo, which won Best Picture at this year's Academy Awards. Affleck's next directorial effort, Live By Night, will also be produced by Warner.

Affleck is no stranger to the superhero gig, having played Daredevil in 20th Century Fox's 2003 flick of the same name. His will be the fifth big-screen Batman since Michael Keaton donned the cowl in Tim Burton's 1989 effort.

The Man of Steel sequel, which will likely be called Batman vs Superman, was announced at Comic-Con earlier this year. The film will be penned by Snyder and Man of Steel screenwriter David S. Goyer, and is currently slated to open worldwide on July 17, 2015. The sequel will reunite Man of Steel stars Henry Cavill, Laurence Fishburne, Amy Adams and Diane Lane.

Man of Steel has taken in more than $630 million at the worldwide box office to date.

I think he'll be good. Won't be Bale/Nolan good but won't be Clooney bad either. Affleck is a pretty decent actor (but a much better director..its odd - I'd rate him higher than Snyder as a director). Most of all I think Cavil and Affleck will have good chemistry on screen so it looks good so far.

So Bale rejected 50 million deal..hmm, didn't expect that.

Anyways, Affleck is good actor but Batman is NOT his role. Nope.

Considering it's probably not an origin story, it's going to be fine. I can easily imagine him playing cocky Bruce Wayne, brooding Bruce Waybe, growly voice Batman.

However I would rather have him directing the movie instead of starring in it. Zack Snyder will ruin the movie, as usual.

sh*t...

I like Ben. He is a decent actor, a very good director and has had unreasonable crap thrown at him in last decade. Granted, Gigli and J-lo were warranting mockery, but still. He has had a fantastic recovery with his last 3 directorial ventures so things are on the up for him.

But he doesn't come off as a good Batman to me. I see him and he looks like either a goofy-happy fella or a cocky smug bastid. Not a crazy psychotic or a silent brooding person, at the very least. I mean look at American psycho; one look at bale there and you knew that this is Bruce Wayne if he had not had his fighting skills and training while retaining all the anger and unstable mind.

-_- T_T -_-

Anyhow, hope that affleck's Midas touch/rebirth continues. I really liked daredevil (director's cut: it is like a whole different movie) and earlier work with Kevin smith and Matt Damon shows that he has some good talent.
