123 people have backed a Kickstarter so Uwe Boll can make a Postal 2 movie

This-is-a-joke-right.jpg

As of writing, 123 people have pledged actual dollars on Kickstarter so that the infamous cinematic irritant Uwe Boll can make the movie Postal 2. Are you one of these people? Do you know one of these people? Can you find one of these people? Because if so, I would very much like to hear their explanation as to why. I guess the fact that Uwe Boll is crowdfunding this “film” is also news, of a sort. Especially because it looks so brutally stupid.

Remember, if you find yourself wanting to back a Uwe Boll Kickstarter, please do the responsible thing and just throw your money in a woodchipper or something.

Looks like I am one of the few here who did not like Madras Café. Well. To each his own I guess. Though I feel the movie could've been a lot better with better camera work and editing, it could've been better as it was just with better actors, and that includes better support actors too.

I agree with the religion part. Organised religion is biggest load of bull... and is the single greatest reason for enmity and hatred in the world. Not to mention conflicts, It is right up there with lust for land (jameen-jayezaat) when it comes to propagating wars.

But that is something i have always known (in the last few years, though) and while it was nice to have them introduce that, it were the 9/11 and la li lu le lo (alleged) conspiracy that made my face meet my palm. That is good for stories based in fictional media.

Well, the 9/11, even before watching this or other documentaries i always had a personal doubt on the way the building fell. So i'm still yet to see anything that convinces me that it is truly an outside job.

I think the pacing was a bit off the mark, and yeah, the editing could have been better. Again, better actors, yup. Somebody like Aamir Khan would have done wonders for the movie (look at Sarfarosh). Nargis Fakhri was alright (though it was a bit weird with the English-Hindi convos).

Barring all the negatives aside, I think the movie served it's purpose. I was too small when the actual assassination happened, and have no memory of it. The movie made me curious to look into the whole LTF/LTTE story, the assassination and most of all, how RAW works. Moreover, it makes you think of the powers at large, how wars are briefed and how, supposedly, large corporations invest in it.

Last but not the least, we lost a good PM that day. Rarely do you see the audience leaving the theater quietly, and this was one of those movies.

By god Dylan you are becoming one,of my favorite persons here.

The skepticism should be when some one claims it (9/11 in this context) to be an INSIDE job, and burden of proof should lie on that party to prove their wacky theory. Not the other way round

Saw Blackfish. Also going through "Death at Seaworld". Such intelligent and majestic animals, showing higher emotional responses and social bonding than humans, kept in captivity, and being driven psychotic and neurotic. Shame ! :(

The movie talks mostly of Tilikum and trainers killed by him, but the book goes into much needed details on years of experience with wild orcas and their interactions among others and with humans vs. those kept in captivity (where tanks are more or less just twice/thrice their size and an animal which ordinarily travels 100s of miles every day is kept stranded for years altogether). It is such a fascinating and depressing read.
