Ne0
True. The kid was by far the worst part of the movie. The sad part is the exact same scene was in Krrish 3. yep, that was what I thought too, the scene looked almost copied from krrish 3 .... maybe marc webb does watch bollywood , who knows BTW, the movie is not as bad as all the reviews are making it to be , I enjoyed this more than 'the winter soldier' .... Also, saw 'Queen' , one of the good / entertaining bollywood movie I've seen in a long time .... also, award winning performance by KR, unless some other 100+ crore movie actress snags it ! Nemo
He is if you like style-over-substance, incoherent and inane action sequences which are ultimately as hollow as most of his films. Oh wait, Michael Bay does it better so I think "He be the god of action" Are you saying you dont like over the top action movies ? Do all your flicks get sourced from french and bengali art house cinemas ? please try having a modicum of thought before entering into any argument, dick swinging and having literally zero to offer as a sensible debating point. I seldom deal in absolutes, neither do i have mutually exclusive choices. Snyder makes entertaining movies with great action and so does Bay, and you have to particularly conceited to not discern that. Their movies wont have remembrance for screenplay, but that is the beauty of having an open mind with affinity towards pleasure of one's senses whilst watching a movie, across genres, without any bias. Snyder's stuff (say- 300) isnt big on story or characters, but neither is sharkanado, yet only one of them is thoroughly entertaining. You must be one of those "oh noes ! michael bay ruined turtles !!" groupies, am i right ? _ Edited May 4, 2014 by Nemo

You must be one of those "oh noes ! michael bay ruined turtles !!" groupies, am i right ? _ I love over the top action. I loved avengers and many many other superhero movies. But, i didn't like Man of Steel one bit. I found the action to be nauseating. It has nothing to be with me not liking action movies or anything like that. I liked 300, though. My point was, one may not like the kind of action that Snyder showed in MOS, but that doesn't mean that the person doesn't like action movies altogether. STICK3Rboy
Oh I do like over the top action movies. I love flicks like Shoot 'em up which know how to present brainless, silly, switch-your-brain-off action on the screen well. Unlike Snyder and Bay who don't know jack sh*t about shooting a good action sequence without using slo-mo, CGI or making 100 cars explode in the background just for the sake of it. And it's fine if you like their brand of "action". You may even label people who don't to be conceited or think of yourself as having a "diversified" sense in films. I just think that people who like Snyder's and Bay's worthless mess have a god awful taste in the action genre. Peace. Though I enjoyed Shoot 'em up, I can't remember it having even a single action scene worth mentioning. And who cares if Snyder and Bay use slow-mo or CGI or whatever the f**k they want as long as we get to see a great action sequence? Also, which of Zack Snyder's action sequences did you find incoherent? I'm seriously curious.

Big Boss
I personally can't wait for Batman vs Superman. Hyped as hell for that one. Him ruining Batman is going to just rock my world. I cant wait too. At least we will have a Batman who can kick some a*s in hand to hand combat, and maybe move his neck. Nolan trilogy was great, but it severely lacked hand to hand combat, which is so well done in Batman animated movies.
STICK3Rboy
Maybe not worth mentioning but I sure as hell remember many of the scenes even today. The craziness was off the charts in that movie. In a good way. And speaking of inchoherent, just watch sucker punch if you haven't. Something trivial happens, suddenly its a war zone lol. I would even say Man of Steel but Snyder was somewhat restrained to unleash his true charisma because maybe he respects superman. The dude has a serious obsession with Green Screen. Take that away and he won't be able to direct sh*t. I personally can't wait for Batman vs Superman. Hyped as hell for that one. Him ruining Batman is going to just rock my world. I have watched Sucker Punch. It is a bad movie overall, but it has some great action sequences. And about the warzone scene you mentioned, it just means the movie's script is incoherent, not the action scene itself.
Big Boss
"Severely lacked?" o_O Maybe there was not as much as you'd liked but there was surely quite a bit of it. "Quite a bit?" o_O Are we talking about same movies? Most of the action was car chases or stealth takedowns or Batman trying to fight.

Nolan-Bat was all about stealth takedowns and … well honestly cant recall anything more or substantial apart from that. Going all mgs snake as a part of whole combat skill is fine but comeon.. it's batman ffs. He should not be ALL about stealth. The Last one was pretty boring tbh _ Edited May 4, 2014 by Nemo
Big Boss
I mean he has kinda created a false image of Batman. When I showed Batman Arkham game combat to one friend who is massive Nolan trilogy fan, he couldn't believe that Batman could fight like that and called the game silly
