Even the hollywood version of THE RING was crap.I had seen the original japanese version of ringu and that was really creepy and scary, i also saw the prequel to that one (called ring :the begining i think) and it was really nice as well. i agree the grudge n the ring were utter crap... also not a fan of the shaky cam balir witch project either... althou i have not seen the movie Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It's one of my favorite horror flicks and one of the few movies that genuinely scared me. Do you guys know that Gore Verbinski (director of The Ring and the Pirates movies) is doing the Bioshock movie? As for The Grudge, I prefer Ju-On, the Hollywood one was okay (since it was done by the same director) but fell short in terms of the overall mood and atmosphere.
