Watched Ex Machina. This is probably the best sci-fi movie I have ever seen, especially after having recently talked to someone about how Google is working towards 'singularity'. I didn't see some of its twists and turns coming. Kept me on my toes without being a fast-paced movie at all.

Tom Hanks. Enough said.

A user from IMDB board saw it and shared his thought:

If you like Tom Hanks, you will love it!
The story is told completely from his view, so he is basically in the center of every scene. He brings in a lot of humor - sometimes subtle, sometimes self-enhancing and obvious -, often with a slighty tragic undertone. There are also some melancholic and desperate moments where he doesn't speak, but his face tells a lot about is inner state of mind. In general his acting reminded me of Bill Murray in "Lost in Translation" - obviously because of the way both of them are handeling the culture clash.
