His Name Was Jason: 30 Years of Friday the 13th. A must have documentary for the Jason fans. It has all the interviews from the directors & actors of each of it's movies. The only real problem is that they didn't present it properly. Instead of chronological order of the movies, these chumps decided to mix everything up.

Also fell asleep while watching Reservoir Dogs. Another reason why I hate Tarantino flicks. Always over-the-top & too loud. :wallbash:

I think Jay settled for a 10:30 night show. I went for a 2:30 show. The movie was good. Not great but good. The finale chase sequence could have been improved. It could have had more races. Dom revives his 1970 Dodge Charger, which was badly damaged in the first movie. Soundtrack is kick a*s as usual. Sound Effects are brilliant. Also there is no other summer movie for now, better watch this one in the cinema. Just like ONG BAK 2, this movie ended with a sequel indication.

Watched Fast & Furious last night. Good movie and easily the best in the franchise so far. Somehow it felt a lot more mature considering the nature of the franchise, maybe because the cast is older now. The movie felt more like a cop drama in the beginning and it takes a good while for the engines to start roaring. The opening sequence was probably the best action sequence in the movie despite some dodgy VFX work. The ending chase was okay but could have been longer. Still my main draw towards the movie -

Michelle Rodriguez - was killed off about 20 minutes into the movie. I feel she's not dead though and could be back for the next one.

Also, after everything that happened in the movie the very final scene did not make much sense...

Overall a decent watch especially since there has been a severe lack of action flicks lately.

Michelle Rodriguez is very much dead. That's the whole motive to push Dom to go after Fenix.

Dom going after Fenix? Sounds weird doesn't it? I think his name was Felix though.

Well they never really showed her dead body. Also at the funeral one of the cops tells Brian that facial recognition was a match which means her body was badly burnt. Felix himself tells Dom that all he saw was fire. I'm pretty sure they'll bring her back, although that would sort of make the plot of this movie somewhat irrelevant. But these things happen a lot in action sequels.

Check his name out again. It's Fenix Rise. Anyway, Fenix doesn't know who Letty actually was & I remember him firing a shot at her as well. It's pointless to have her make an appearance in the next movie, assuming she survived in this & never made an entry later on. That would be a waste.

I know it would be lame... but I want Letty back :nerves:

The next one will most probably have the main guy from Tokyo Drift along with the others.

They could also bring back Tyrese Gibson on that one. That would be one explosive movie. It's too bad that movies like these have a very short run time. :nerves:
