@Billy, Trust me, when you're away from home and alone... you start liking stuff that you never thought you would!

BTW, watched The International last night. I have mixed opinions about the flick. The direction was slick, the performances were spot on, the plot was pretty unique and the Guggenheim shootout was one of the best action sequences I've seen in recent times. However, the movie lost steam in the third act and the ending was horribly done. The first half of the movie was a lot better than the second. It's still worth a watch if you love smart realistic thrillers. However, be prepared for a disappointing climax.

Watched The Fast and The Furious 4, sucked big time. Rating it 6.5/10. Tokyo Drift was awesome

Btw guys, i am picking some Bluray movies, any recommendations ? I have already decided these : Casino Royale, Batman Begins & The Dark Knight, V for Vendetta [ My favorite ], Transformers 1

I have about 30-40 BR & HD-DVD Rips. Don't want Speed-racer too :fear:

Need some movies which are worth watching on original bluray.Maybe something with special effects. Was thinking Harry Potter, anyone thinks its worth picking the entire set ? its going for 51 pounds on amazon.

Also i already have 1080p rips of PoC and The Matrix complete set.

@Afty, LA,

Can't blame anyone who hates watchmen. The movie is made in such a way so as to appeal only to the book's fans. There's nothing new for a newbie to like in the movie. For an average movie-goer, the plot is over-the-top confusing stuff, the characters look idiotic and ridiculous(Dr. Manhattan's nude portrayal only adds fuel to the fire), and the action sequences are just average....nothing to write home about.

And to expect the viewer to have the knowledge of the backstory prior to watching a movie is not correct. Its a good movie, but only for the fans. For the rest - its crap and their opinion is justified. Don't make a movie where the viewer has to do a prior homework to enjoy it.

Haven't seen the Watchmen myself for all I know it is crap. But if you go to watch a movie you should have some inkling of the plot. Reminds me of on of my retarded friends with whom I watched The two towers, he kept babbling about how the movie was all about people walking from one place to another. And kept calling Faramir, Vladmir.

You wanna hate the film at least hate it for the right reasons. Going into watchmen and expecting Spiderman or Ironman is retarded. No other way to put it.

Also watch High fidelity and Grosse pointe blank. Two of my favourate romantic comedys of all time.

+1. John Cusack surely knows how to pick his roles!
