Saw Dont breathe. Goddamn what a fantastic film. Just unendingly intense, completely relentless. Its short and there is barely a frame that is wasted. I was on the edge of my seat in the first 15 minutes and stayed there almost for the entire film. The last 15 minutes are squandered just a teeeny tiny bit but aside from that it is phenomenal.

Probably my favorite thriller in years.

Also Stephen Lang, jesus. Take a bow. Amazing performance with almost no dialogues.

I saw it day before... epic movie....

I am a scaredy cat and don't watch horror movies generally. On imdb, it was mentioned as Horror Thriller. So, i was apprehensive about it..

I saw it in the pvr logix 4dx for more fun but it didn't add much to the movie.

tharki bhudda... hahahha best thing was as you said, only in the last 15 mins or so, did he speak. Just wow...

He was scary, intimidating and ruthless without even speaking...

how the f**k does he get away after having a f**king padded cell type of space with restraints and all, must be a bunch of idiotic cops who came to the house. Also, that basement scene was the scariest in the movie for me, when the girl comes up. AAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.... I thought in the end, when they were at the station/airport, the old man will show up there as well somehow and scare the sh*t out of me.

Saw this Kannada movie called 'Neer Dose' with some office colleagues.... Must say I was pretty impressed.... Although the narration gets pretty slow at times, overall acting by the lead actors, the cinematography , non linear narration, and the witty dialogues (full of double meaning/sexual innuendos) keep you from getting bored !

Not a movie to watch with full family (it's A cert) , but with a bunch of friends it can be quite entertaining !

Nice to see this new wave of Kannada directors making off beat movies such as this one instead of the usual remakes which were the norm until sometime back !

I dont think he gets away with it at all, at least long term. The news report we see is from the very next day, I think the reporter mentions "thieves broke in yesterday into a blind old mans house". So whoever is reporting it almost certainly doesnt have any real information aside from two dead bodies and the blind guys story. So that is just the first thing they find out and report on. The cops would almost certainly think the whole thing is suspicious and over the next few days he would probably be caught. Especially once they start doing DNA tests and looking at the rape dungeon more closely.

Edit That shot in the darkness in the basement where they fade away from old man and he just melts into the darkness was sooo f**king good. The cinematography is really good in this film, conveys the feeling of claustrophobia really well.

this is unlike anything ever made. :majesty:

Sry for double posting, wasnt aware it was already posted here.

After watching Don't Breathe, I fear that The Shallows will now feel underwhelming.

Havnt seen dnt breathe, but from the trailers both movies look quite different. I guess, u will like the shallows.
