He meant it when he said he'd rather slash his wrists than do another Bond movie. Then he went on to turn down a $150million paycheck from Sony. That was his mistake. He pissed off the execs at Sony when they were being generous. Those were rumours 150 million paycheck ones.. Bond is a franchise known to change the protagonist every few films Sony is not idiot to pay so big amount.. Also Craig has said time and again he said that when he was very taxed and only 2 days after wrapping spectre.. Was missing his family its tough to stay for such prolong periods.. Being someone who works away from family I can relate.. If I am on a holiday and someone asks when are you going back that's the last thing I want to answer..
