I used to hate anything Harry Potter until I actually sat down and read all of them... in a span of one month! Looking forward to the HBP movie... it's my favorite book in the series! The movies are not representative of the series at all, they don't even have a quarter of the stuff that's in the books, the universe is so well constructed and described with exquisite detail that at times it rivals Tolkien. The last two movies missed out on some really cool plot points in the books and showed only the 'highlights' and action-y scenes. And the books dont even have Emma Watson in them. a lot of people think that harry potter is kiddish and panders to the populace. far from it. they are set in a school - yes. they have magic - yes. but they also have excellent mysteries - really complex. also, no kid should read a harry potter after book 3 - they were not meant for kids. Looking forward to the HBP movie... it's my favorite book in the series! well i read all of them in 7 days .. actually i had no internet , no friends no games and nothing to do for one whole month .. so i finished like 25 books in a month ,finished michael crichton , read red mars ,blue mars , green mars , eragon and eldest and some more .. 93bullets Posted April 17, 2009 Report Share Posted April 17, 2009 (edited) Saw fast and the furious 4, was pretty confusing in the begining until i realised it was a kind of a prequel to the 3rd one. Well the story was not that bad but could not see much of street racing (doesnt fast and furious kinda mean street racing) it was kind of a one time watch in comparison to the three movies released before.
