mohit9206
Did anyone watch Conjuring 2? Did you like it? I thought it was good but not all that scary. Directing and acting was pretty good though.

If anything a movie should be made about the battle of Saragarhi when 21 sikh soldiers held 10,000 pastun fighters.....it still said to be the great last stand anyone has one put..... O.o What are you talking about? There are a TON of books about India, its contributions and impact of the two world wars on South Asia. From foreign and Indian writers/historians. Just because Hollywood isnt making a film about it (and really why should they, its not their history) doesnt mean it doesnt exist. There is a world outside of movies. History really only exists in books. Read something before whining pointlessly about untrue bullshit. Edited January 6, 2017 by Aftrunner
playstationdude
I know we took part in WW1 but need to find something more on the net about it....Problem is India was majorly involved in it's freedom movement during the second world war, so obviously records of the freedom movement took precedence over those of Indians in WW2. Not a bad thing though. Freedom movement was more important to us at that time.Anyway, I think enough OT. We should stick to movies only

Almost 200 years under their rule.... their war we fought for....90,000 Indian soldiers died ...liberating Italy from Nazi ....suffered famine that killed millions in Bengal for their war and how can you even come up with something as stupid as to say it is not their history .. our history is very much their history .......and even their own academician, historians agree that Indian soldiers contribution never got their due recognization . KyoyaHibari
Always wanted to see a WW2 movie from Indian point of view Watch Kanche telegu movie. It's not a complete war film, but half of it is war and well directed fights considering our budget standerds. At the very least the film gives a bit o exposure. Many ppl don't even know lot of Indian soldiers were sent to war during ww2.

Hollywood = USA. Not India. Its not their history. Why should they be making films on Indian war efforts? Especially when India has just as big of a film industry. Genuinely serious question, have you read one single book about Indian history of the two WWs? Just one? Actually, let me make that question even simpler. Have you even bothered to do a single google search to see if there are books about it? Cause I would bet money right now that you havent. There is a ton of source material. If anyone thinks India's efforts havent been recognized its because people like you never read anything and just assume they havent. If its not made into a giant Hollywood blockbuster then it doesnt exist. So stop playing the victim card bullshit and educate yourself. Yeah that's what I thought the movie will be about during first 10 seconds of trailer, but then Kangana showed up in skimpy skirt doing item number on stage and instantly broke that illusion. No i have not read even single book on this as for google search often have done quite a number of times and read many articles on World War 2 and Indias role in WW2... Since youre so well read on this would you please mention some books on Indian world war 2 efforts that have been written by Britishers...i am genuinely asking this because i will also be surprised to know how many actually took the effort to tell our story ....also while at it also take your to time enlighten me on how do you think India's effort were recognized by Britain on both wars..because i actually was talking in that reference only...it was not just about Hollywood film on them.... When i said recorded history i meant their recorded history ...Not even one war memorial or a monument in Britain for Indian soldiers who died during world war 2..even france has 1...I am pretty sure British History text books would hardly even mention more than a word or two about Indian soldiers effort in their wars...
