l33tmaniac Posted January 8, 2017 Report Share Posted January 8, 2017 I have been watching a bunch of good movies over the past two weeks. Must-watch: -- Hacksaw Ridge. Loved this movie. Andrew Garfield's performance is amazing and the movie's depiction of hopelessness, camaradiere in war is pretty neat. -- Sully. Tom Hanks kills it here. Just go watch the movie. The final investigation scene left me with goosebumps. Good movies: -- Deepwater Horizon. A pretty good biopic about what caused the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Being able to relate to the people who worked there and suffered due to the crisis gives it a pretty emotional and oft neglected perspective to something that garnered attention from media mainly for the ecological impact. -- Passengers. I am a fan of Chris Pratt and JLaw. Their chemistry was the main reason I liked the movie. It's going to be very interesting to see their fighting style. Hope the action is as good as the warehouse sequence in Batman v Superman.
