playstationdude
Yeah all because of Marvel and their comedy films. Everyone wants witty heroes now. That's why Logan was such a breath of fresh air. I hope after infinity war Marvel changes direction. Except Spidey and Deadpool, no Marvel hero should act like a comedian. Marvel will probably make Hulk joke around in that Thor movie. They already made Hulk joke around in Avengers. And it was quite funny too.
Big Boss
Yeah they already did that. Sigh.
Aftrunner
I always feel like people who clamor for "serious" and "grim dark" movies are trying to validate themselves reading comics as an adult. "Look this is an adult hobby. Look at these serious dark films that are not for kids. Its grown up stuff". Its literally the Nintendo argument. Comic book movies dont HAVE to be serious. They dont HAVE to be funny or witty either. Deadpool and Logan are proof comic book movies can be whatever they want to be and the audience will accept both. They just have to be good. When they arent good its not because everyone wanted funny. People want good writing, characters and a good story. Some films (you know which ones) didnt deliver. That is it.

Big Boss
Yeah. Just making every lead superhero crack jokes or witty one liners gets annoying after a while. Imagine Starlord, Spidey, Iron Man, Antman getting together in Infinity war. Thanos might kill himself due too all the annoying wittiness surrounding him. Aftrunner
Saw Kong Skull Island BTW. Really good fun. Nice clean camera work and tons of monster fights. Thats all I want in a monster film. The editing was real amateurish though. Still if they Godzilla like this, I am there day 0.
Big Boss
I wanted to see 2007 King Kong again and it's not on Netflix wtf. It's on Amazon prime but costs 5$ or something. Need to check Hulu. Netflix should have got it.

Sensible post after long retarded conversation. Also, insecure comic fans always coming up with 'have you read comics'? Lol.

Aftrunner
Bringing Spidey to the Marvel verse was such a smart move. RDJ and Spidey just feel so natural together.

Big Boss
Wow Spider-man Homecoming trailer was epic. Liked it more than JL and GOTG2 trailers. That DIY costume looks great. Never thought it will look good. Also lol at Tony telling Spidey that if you are nothing without your suit, you shouldn't have it. What good is Tony without his suit? Big Boss
Ok. I'm not a fanboy. But, did you not see iron man 3? Tony is just trying to teach to Peter what he learned... from his mistakes. Sent from my ONE E1003 Iron man 3 was a sh*t movie. They butchered Mandarin. That movie is worse than Suicide Squad. Also taking away suit from Spidey even figuratively doesn't do anything. For him, suit is just a way to hide identity. For Tony, suit is his superpower. But yeah I get what they meant to show by that dialogue. But that just doesn't sound right in literal sense.
