Henry Cavill is a great Superman no doubt but it's the characterization that's wrong. He barely had any dialogues in the BvS theaterical cut lol.I hope MoS 2 will be a proper supes movie coz Matthew Vaughn would be directing it. There was not much character development in MoS. The third act was overlong and focused on destruction only. Snyder doesn't get Superman. He sees him like Dr Manhattan from Watchmen.I still remember being super hyped for MoS and watching it the first day.But it was better than that abomination called Superman Returns! Superman is supposed to be the guy who gives hope to people in dark times. Snyder's superman is just super depressing. Kinda like he was written for some depressed Emo audience.On the other hand, I really liked his version of Batman. He just needs to make batman more stealthy and add more detective skills, otherwise Afflek's version is straight out of the comic books.
