Very naive statements.

The ticket prices for Bahubali 2 here in bangalore is 500- 1000 in most places. Its sold out everywhere. If people were against it, it wouldn't have happened.

We normal people dint want to do anything with stopping the movie and sh*t. Its only few idiotic organisations who just wanted to extort money from the movie producers and distributors.

Thats about it.. Most kannadigas watched the 1st part and will watch this well..

Its like blaming mumbaikars for sh*t Shiv Sena and MNS does..

Yup, a few Kannada organization activists. Satyaraj speaking ill about Karnataka was just a thing of past that was used for the sake of not letting the movie enter the state. The main reason, as I mentioned, is the fear of Baahubali appearing on the platter of most of the screens here, thereby hindering the performance of local movies Edited by Clenched_Balls

Point is that it's only here in bangalore that you have people pulling off sh*t like this, I don't have a problem, please kill the goose, I just don't watch it.

Another gripe I have is that they set a limit of 200 for a movie in the budget, not implemented, they increase road tax on bikes, implemented next day, saale mafia.

Baahubali 2 will be the first movie for that rule to be applied upon, if things go according to the run of play. If not, then torrents ftw

At least in Mumbai, it's not so bad.

It might be 800 in a couple of places that too for premium seating or something.

I don't remember paying more than 250 for any movie in Mumbai even on weekends, first weeks, etc.

You just have to keep a close eye on discounts and stuff.

In Mumbai, 300 is the peak price in most places for normal seats.

Guess all of us need to be jealous about Chennai cuz prices are capped at 120 there and according to what I've heard, some theatres like Sathyam chain, are good even at that price

Baahubali 2 - treat to eyes, pain for ears (cinema here seem to have jacked up treble to maximum possible level).

Theatre was house full, all Indians.

Babies crying, phones were constantly ringing, people taking pictures during the movie

Ppl are paying a similar amount in delhi and mumbai.. It's just not limited to bangalore. I dont understand the hate against premium pricing of movies, it's not like it's a important medicine or good etc for which price needs to be regulated. Isn't it simple business? There are people willing to pay a premium for a non essential commodity so why not charge a premium.

Ticket prices in Delhi NCR are not out of control.

Ticket price @ Imax PVR in Noida is Rs 350.

Bc 600 - 1000 is too much for a movie

4 people * 1400 + 4 * 350 (pop corn combo) = 7000 for a family, wooot.

Drive to Chennai = 700 kms, petrol used 50 litres, 50*70 = 3500, ticket 120 each = 480, food and beverage = 2000, still 1k saved :P

Relevant to price in India, how?

That isn't a usual price of any movie in USA. Max it's around $25. It just shows even theaters in US want to make big bucks from an Indian movie. That's why phenom mentioned it.
