Big Boss
Tom Hardy is VENOM! http://variety.com/2017/film/news/tom-hardy-venom-spinoff-spider-man-director-ruben-fleischer-1202418721/ Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland) will direct. Solid picks, looking forward to this! Well Venom movie makes no sense. And casting an old guy like Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock makes no sense too. How did this get greenlit is beyond me.Are they going to explain Venom Origin without Spidey black suit? They can't skip that part. If they won't, half the movie will be Spidey movie and not Venom movie. If they are changing Venom Origin itself then they can gtfo.
pixeljunkie
Haha, you just won't give up on BB will you ? I'm not catching the bait this time around though, so, no comments .... Again you're very mistaken about me intentions. I did my best to prevent members on IVG from unfairly criticizing the sequel for the following reasons. One day in the future Bollywood will give India a movie franchise similar to Baahubali. It will be a huge cause for celebration amongst Bollywood fans. It will rake in mega bucks and probably break every single record that the Baahubali franchise will ever create. When that happens, Tollywood fans may not appreciate the movie as much as Bollywood would've expected and they will most likely end up chastizing the movie for the same unfair reasons that Bollywood fans used to criticize the Baahubali movies. And like how members on this thread have clearly expressed their entitlement to their personal views on the Baahubali movies, one day they will need to give Tollywood fans room for their views too. I wish to express my thanks to all the people who've turned what could've been a joyous moment for Indians all over the world into a never-ending cycle of viciousness. This is why i'm pissed with Bollywood. By virtue of being a more formidable film industry, they should've been the ones to first roll out a epic franchise like Baahubali. Big Boss
So it was Tollywood vs Bollywood all along. Now I know why you were acting so much like an elitist.

No. I was stopping bollywood fans from recklessly bashing an Indian movie. How does that make me elitist? Big Boss
Well I am 100% sure no one is a Bollywood fan on IVG because that industry sucks as a whole. There are some movies that are good and most are terrible. People here just enjoy the movies which they like which can be different than what you like. So stop being so insecure about Tollywood. For me, Bahubali 1 had many nonsensical scenes but still movie was better than whatever Bollywood makes. Pretty sure same case will be with BB2 so not going to bother with it in theaters. FYI I grew on Bollywood flicks. In fact my exposure to Indian cinema has largely been thanks to Bollywood. And this is a big deal considering that i grew up in Tamil Nadu. I can confidently tell you that i've watched less than 5 Kollywood movies in the last 10 years. And i haven't seen a single Telugu movie till date. With that said, it makes little sense to think that i'm supporting Tollywood.

Tyler
Finally watched THE VOID. Great homage to 80s style horror. It felt like a combo of Hellraiser and The Thing. Crazy cult, hideous monsters, cosmic horror and buckets of gore, it's all here. The movie does have low budget feel but the practical effects are very, very well done. Almost all of the creatures are done with practical effects, no CGI at all. The story is the only lacking element here, it's not bad but feels kind of rushed towards the end and I couldn't relate to any of the characters. Know that it ends with many questions (in true Lovecraft style) and the closing shot is pretty epic. Overall a decent watch if you're a horror buff and there aren't too many cosmic horror movies out there.
harsh1387
Nice poster. They even copied the curly long hair Sylvester had in Rambo series.. Rambo series was real fun. Tiger has the body and same kinda height but he is no where when it comes to macho acting and dialogue delivery like Sylvester.. all depends how movie is directed.. hopefully they won't turn it into a Tarzan type with a song and dance sequence every 15 mins. Such movies should stay away from love angles and any songs. Good to see bollywood experimenting. Btw, there is a serious dearth of original ideas in bollywood. If it's a movie let's copy/buy rights from South or hollywood. If it's a song let's pick an oldie, remix it, get honey singh or baadshah types and make it a hit. If not for my wife who is a big bollywood movie lover I won't watch a single one these days. Big Boss
Yeah the remake of old songs is getting out of hand. Almost every movie has a remake of old song now. They are banking on nostalgia.
Ne0
Yeah, hate the remixes, lazy musicians, really sad to see such a good song like hamma hamma butchered.... Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
Max Pain
Isn't Hollywood the same these days rebooting and remaking everything? Genuine doubt! Pls shed some light on this matter if wrong.
Big Boss
Oh yes especially when it comes to TV. All old shows being rebooted and remaked and what not. Movies too. Even gaming. Everyone wants to bank on nostalgia.

Pls shed some light on this matter if wrong.Yep, Hollywood has been doing this for long time, even in the 70s they used to remake movies from 50s etc. But we didn't mind so far as in many cases we wouldn't have seen the original anyway [emoji14] For ex, I had seen the original Total recall, so kept cringing throughout the remake [emoji14] Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk Edited May 21, 2017 by Ne0
Star Lord
Remakes were always there and aren't going any time soon.Movies like Scarface,True Grit and The Departed are all remakes. Some of the best Westerns from the 60s were also remade from Akira Kurosawa's films.
