You just watch! We'll rise like never before for we are the true masters and pioneers of this class which will now be free of all the peasantry!

So you watching this film? Depending or irrespective of what critics say? O.o

Ya hopefully, it's just a week between this and the mummy so I guess it will max get a week run in IMAX, if it continues ahead of week, I will do a double marathon, mummy and ww back to back in IMAX

^Not my type! Everyone looks so happy, charming and funny in the trailer, that stuff doesn't happen in real life. I want movies where there is blood and violence with people who are filled with ugly motives trying to ruin each other's lives etc. /s

Currently on my list: Noroi, Dark Water and Hungry Ghost Ritual. They all look interesting to me!

Up in the Air is a good movie. It's certainly not the happy romcom that you might be thinking it is. Definitely worth a watch.

A couple of other suggestions for the kind of movies you're looking for:

The Invitation - Watched it recently, pretty awesome slow burn thriller that slowly builds up to a violent finale. It's on Netflix.

Hush - Nice little thriller from the director of Oculus. Also on Netflix.

Goodnight Mommy - Austrian thriller/horror movie that has received critical acclaim among horror enthusiasts, We warned though the last act kind of turns into a

torture porn movie

Thought I should mention this since not everyone enjoys that. Technically neither do I. But it's still a good movie.

You may also like Nicholas Winding Refn's films - Drive, Only God Forgives, The Neon Demon. All of them are pretty dark and violent and are filled with nasty characters. Also very well directed and good looking movies.

There's a lot more I can recommend in the dark violent thriller genre (it's one of my favorites too).

Is it really the last one though? I heard the post-credits scene teases...

the return of Davy Jones.

They will milk it forever. Pretty sure next one is already in development lol Edited by WhiteWolf

I heard The Mummy is really good! According to test screenings anyway! Reliable ones though.

Plus it has Tom Cruise any day a much powerful crowd puller Compared to gadot, I hope they atleast give the movie atleast one show for one more week.

Thanks senpai! The Neon Demon, Only God Forgives and Goodnight Mommy look the most interesting out of all.

I'd personally recommend watching Drive instead of Only God Forgives. The latter is a weird movie that you'll probably end up hating. It's worth watching after you've seen NWR's other movies. Drive has a better story and an excellent soundtrack that basically opened up an entire genre of music to me.

In the last 3 years, I watched like 4 to 5 movies per year.

Now I am trying to watch as many as I can. Saw like 8 movies in the last ~10 days.

I think I can do much better now that my speed is restored. I can download a movie in less than 2 hours.

I am still gonna watch Only God Forgives first. Have already started downloading it. f**k youse!

Let me guess, you watched the trailers? It's anything but a generic action movie, hell, it's not even an action movie. The studio marketed it as some Fast & Furious / Transporter kind of flick and the only thing it has in common with those is that Ryan Gosling's character is a getaway driver. In fact some woman even sued the filmmakers because she was sold a fast paced car action movie and got a slow-paced violent drama instead.

Correct, the trailer gave me such impression. Okay boss, I will watch Drive first and then OGF.
