I just want an enjoyable summer blockbuster with humor and action, nothing game-changing. Ditto. As long as it's not a steaming pile of garbage like the last two dc movies I am happy. Exactly, though I personally didn't think BvS was that bad, I still hate some of the writing and the "save Maaarthaaa!!" resolution but man it's one good looking movie. It's a treat to watch on blu-ray. Suicide Squad had issues related to pacing and editing but it was still a fun watch, I certainly didn't regret watching it. I mean it could have been loads better given the talent involved but that's another story. As for WW, it looks more like Captain America: The First Avenger to me which was the very definition of "strictly average" for me. I hope it's better than that though. Aquaman by James Wan (Saw, Conjuring, F7) The Batman by Matt Reeves (DotPotA) Nightwing by Chris McKay (The Lego Batman) and of course Justice League by the creator of DCCU, Lord Snyder. I have a feeling that Justice League will be a commercial (for obvious reasons) as well as a critical success. Just have to go through this one big obstacle (although I am pretty confident that I am going to enjoy it; Snyder never disappointed me) and the future is/will be brighter than ever before for DC! I don't want to jinx it, but with such genuine effort, love and talent put into each and every department while also taking huge risks, I think DC is going to be the best in the business again! I am most excited about Aquaman though just to see how James Wan handles a superhero flick (well Furious 7 was almost one). The cast is pretty decent too.
