Cool trailer.  Black panther is one of my favourite Marvel Hero

If this fails then I will blame Marvel for not giving it same love and budget as other superhero movies starring white characters.

:fear:

Cross-posting my THE MUMMY review from FB...

Short version: The one with Brendan Fraser was better. Long version: Wow, where to begin... this is the movie that is supposed to set up the supposed "Dark Universe" but it just might end up killing the whole thing in it's crib. The first 30 minutes or so are alright and it peaks at the plane crash scene (from all the trailers) but it's all downhill from there. Not even Tom Cruise who is usually great in summer blockbusters is able to save this mess of a film. Even worse is Russell Crowe who is given some ridiculous scenes. The only highlight is Sofia Boutella who plays The Mummy, she looks the part and does the best she can with what she's given.

The filmmakers are too busy trying to set up a franchise that they forget to actually make a coherent film. It's like they don't realize that to get audiences invested you need to make a good movie first. There's no sense of adventure, no humour and most of the action (except for a couple of scenes) take place indoors, in dark corridors and tunnels. None of this is exciting nor scary nor entertaining. The ending is somewhat unexpected, I'll give it that but it doesn't make up for the 100 or so minutes before it.

I'm honestly not sure what kind of movie they were going for. Was it supposed to be a dark gothic monster tale? Was it supposed to be a summer action blockbuster? It tries to be everything and doesn't succeed at anything. Overall, it's a disappointing movie and I wouldn't recommend it. The whole Dark Universe concept sounds interesting on paper and they already have some great talent attached to it but it's off to a very shaky start.

Which movie to watch wonder woman or mummy? On one hand tired of superhero movies and on the other hand mummy has got bad reviews.

I've seen both. The Mummy is really bad, Wonder Woman is really good. Easy choice to make.

Yeah WW is really good. It's quite different from other superhero movies. The story is still the same old save the world stuff, but having female lead surprisingly made it fun. It's lighthearted with lot of good humor. Also WW being naive unlike other smart a*s super heroes is kind of charming.

Themyscira and old London settings are breathtaking, tired of seeing same metropolitan cities in these kind of movies all the time.

Yeah I've decided on Wonder Woman too but now the problem is of show timings.
Finding a suitable theatre with suitable timing is a big problem now that we're in the second week.
