Aftrunner
How was Hail Caesar? I completely forgot that it existed. Edited July 27, 2017 by Aftrunner
Max Pain
Apart from Jesse as Lex and Will Smith as Deadshot (although enjoyable, but comic accuracy and nerd tears don't count right? right?) there have been no miscasts in the DCEU so far. Forgot, add Leto as well (just 10 minutes of screentime LOL) Ben as Batman, Gal as Wonder Woman, Ezra as The Flash, Henry as Superman, Jason as Aquaman, Michael Shannon as Zod, Russel Crowe as Jor-El, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Antre as Faora, Diane Lane as Martha, Jeffrey Dean as Thomas/Batman, Lauren Cohan as Martha/Joker....and the great casting list goes on! They did not even change any of the actors like Marvel did with some of their biggest characters in the beginning itself. It's like they actually know whom to cast for the roles without looking at their breasts size or skin colour or political views. Otherwise, we would have never gotten Keaton and Heath Ledger (Idiots bitched about them too, especially in Keaton's case). And one wonders why people still don't give a crap about any of the MCU characters apart from GoTG and Quip-Man (good luck finding out who he is, because literally everyone quips in MCU) even though they made a solo film for every character (Yeah, crap like IM2, IM3, T1, T2, TFA, TIH etc., count right? LOL) One successful film and Gal Gadot becomes THE female superhero shattering records everywhere and her character, a cultural phenomenon once again. Hell, even SS made Harley Quinn much more popular than ever. Despite critical reception, Ben has become THE Batman for everyone. Snobs are also enjoying Ezra. No jokes about Aquaman, either. Shocking! Nerds bitch about Henry, but Man of Steel revived the dead franchise and reignited the interest for the character in the audience and became the most successful film in Superman's career. He'll get universal appeal with Justice League anyway. And all this is because DC isn't run by hacks. They actually take actual risks and put real effort and talent believing in what they do despite whatever the result maybe. Of course there are executives to screw things up, but it has still won them an Oscar. Something which MCU couldn't even with 20+ films. Right guys?! Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk Yeah, he called him as one of his inspirations in an interview. Said he is creating his own unique cinematic language and does remarkable stuff. No sh*t! Nothing to be surprised about really. At 10:25 (if the link doesn't go to the mentioned time frame) It's like people who actually understand filmmaking can understand his brilliance and really perceive what he does. Like I said, plebs don't deserve him. Not just that, cinematic creators in video game industry actually wait for his new films to rip off his work to their cinematics (and trailers) and also incorporate easter eggs related to his film(s) in their video games (like Halo 3, God of War series). Someone even analyzed how you could make an hours consuming RPG out of the ending from his film Sucker Punch. It's...it's like he is actually a remarkable director who can even inspire James Cameron and knows what he does! Dawn of the Dead, 300, Legend of the Guardians, Watchmen and Man of Steel are perfectly good films with totally unique and revolutionizing treatment. Only ones that are widely criticized are Batman v Superman TC and Sucker Punch. That's it. Edited July 27, 2017 by The Panda

Just don't find them inspiring. 300 was f**king inspiring and took the world by storm, especially the ending speech. Legend of the Guardians is very heroic too despite being a kids film. And all his other films are supposed to take you through a cynical ride and make you feel uneasy and uncomfortable throughout like Watchmen, which depressed me for 2 days straight. Some go through exactly the same journey, but end up in a totally different way like Man of Steel and Batman v Superman Ultimate Cut, where it's all about whether humanity is worth saving or not. Even Wonder Woman (Story by Zack Snyder). It is resolved at the end however. And inspiring can be very different for filmmakers from audience. Max Pain
Anyone noticed the song used in the Justice League trailer? It's basically a different version of Superman's theme from Man of Steel. DC has THE best themes! I hope Danny Elfman gives us another iconic theme for the Justice League!
Big Boss
Yeah. Cameroon didn't find film or it's story inspiring. He found his direction inspiring. So unless you are a movie director, you can't say that his direction wasn't inspiring. It doesn't make sense.
