vinitwins
Evan Almighty if i remember correctly was the costliest comedy film ever made. Almost close to $80 million i think. Can't wait to see that chuck and larry movie and also El Catante the figure is $180mn in production costs, with marketing the costs spiralled upwards of $200mn! and yes, it is the costliest comedy to date. MarketTantrik
Evan Almighty was a mistake from the beginning. Steve Carell is just no replacement for Jim Carrey. Universal really stepped in it with this turd.
Tyler
Watched War (Rogue Assassin) on Friday. Decent movie. It's not like what you would expect from the trailers though. The plot is pretty good but I saw the twist coming from a mile away. I might not have expected it if I didn't know there was a twist though. Either way, Jason Statham is his usual badass self while Jet Li needs to practice on his English dialogue. It was pretty difficult to understand what he was saying. However if you're looking for an all out action flick, this isn't it. There isn't a lot of martial arts in the movie, mostly shootouts, and most of the action is in the second half. The final fight between the two was disappointing at best. I liked the sword fight featuring Jet Li better. Overall a good movie if you don't go in expecting a non-stop action movie. MightySkate
Just watched a documentary called The Mars Underground. I've seen many before with the Mars theme, but this stands out for me as it follows one man's dream and fight against the giants like NASA and some political figures to basically send humans to Mars in 10 yrs rather than 20 or so yrs time like NASA wants. A must see for anyone who's into ducomentaries Edited October 23, 2007 by MightySkate

MarketTantrik
Tyler Mane will not be returning as Sabretooth in ‘Wolverine’! From : http://filmonic.com/tyler-mane-will-not-be...h-in-wolverine/ ___________________________________________________________________ SabretoothWolverine (or X-Men Origins: Wolverine as it is called now) is expected to start filming within the next few months, and casting rumours and announcements are expected to be surfacing. We have already learned that Brian Cox will not be returning to play William Stryker, instead Liev Schreiber is in final talks to play a younger version of the character. Another character that will be returning to the big screen, but without its original actor, is Sabretooth. A fan messaged Tyler Mane on his Myspace, asking whether the rumours were true, that he will not be back to reprise his role as Wolverines nemesis. That rumor is true! I would have loved the opportunity to revisit Sabertooth, but it won’t be me! Tyler out Apparently the studio want to go in a different direction with the character. If this means Sabretooth is more bad a*s then I am all for it. I like Tyler Mane and the problem with the Sabretooth we got in X-Men was that he was the mute henchmen, similar to Vinnie Jones’s Juggernaut. I hope they go with an unknown and no wrestlers. The last thing we need is HHH trying to act menacing. _____________________________________________________________________________
